Rossignol Phantom Pro RC112 Skis 2010: The 2010 Rossignol Phantom Pro RC 112 Skis are designed for big-mountain riders with a hankering for extreme adventures on the steeps and in variable snow. It features the same burly, hard-charging, sandwich construction that the top big-mountain guys love, but incorporates rocker technology to improve gliding in bottomless pow. With the new rockered tip, it is amazingly agile in pow, tracked-out crud, and spring corn.

  • 100% off-piste
  • Core and Flex Pattern:Wood core provides ultimate feel, power and durability to produce the best responsive feel with maximized stability.
  • Construction:A modern sandwich construction of wood core, vertical sidewalls, fiberglass and/or metal laminate lay-ups, and a top sheet of Rossitop. Traditional sidewalls produce crisp, direct edging pressure. The Rossitop mini cap increases the ski's durability and facilitates rebound.
  • Shape:Rossignol’s Shark Nose provides an aluminum insert integrated into the tip of the ski to increase torsional rigidity for added control at high speeds // Rocker Technology: The Phantom RC112 features a splayed, rockered tip made for bottomless powder and big landings.
  • Binding Compatibility:Requires brake width of at least 110mm

Comments about Rossignol Phantom Pro RC112 Skis 2010:

I read alot of reviews of this ski that talked about how stiff and stable it is. I was a bit concerned about being able to turn these in tight areas. However, I've been pleasantly surprised by how versatile this ski is for a big burly ski! Because of the rockered tip (i think) this ski isn't a bear to turn. Its no mogul ski, but could be used as a 1-ski quiver out west. I have mine mounted +1, 6'6" 215lbs.

Great ski for open hauling. Too bad most other skis are getting soft and weak. Super stiff...yet forgiving.

Comments about Rossignol Phantom Pro RC112 Skis 2010:

Do not buy this ski as an "easy to ski" all mountain soft snow ski. It is very purpose specific and requires a very strong skier to be able to push this ski around. Chances are if this is the ski for you, you are already aware. Possibly the burliest ski built in the last five years.

Great charging ski, definately do what they they designed for. Little on the heavy side but what do you expect with this type of ski? Awesome ski but you have to be on your game or these will take you for a ride. Awesome ski sad to see it won't be around next year
