Product Details

Shape

AutoTurn Rocker has a high camber underfoot with a low rocker in the tip and tail. Camber underfoot delivers power, energy, and edge grip for groomed run performance, and subtle rocker in the tip and tail delivers easy steering and effortless speed control for versatility in any terrain or snow type.

Extended Sidecut continues beyond contact point where tip and tail rocker start. As speeds and edge angles increase, more sidecut is engage for powerful full-length edge grip. At lower speeds the edge angles sidecut is less engages for more maneuverability and ease.

Construction

Central Dualtech combines the best features of sandwich and cap construction. The cap increases the ski’s durability and facilitates rebound while the traditional sidewalls and underfoot produce crisp, direct edging pressure.

Cascade Tip is made up of varying shapes of metal and fiberglass laminates at staggered lengths that make the tip lighter to improve the swing weight and provide quick, adaptable turn initiation. Unique layered shapes control tip torsion, smoothing turn initiation and improving full edge contact.

Control Beam combined with Twin VAS absorbs vibrations and facilitates rebound by directing pressure to the extremities.

Bindings

Rossignol TPX/Axium 120 Bindings are made of lightweight composite materials to aid in easier turn transitions, making skiing more fun and carrying skis a breeze. Easy step-in design with a long lever arm makes entering and editing the binding effortless.

New, wider binding platform designed for wide skis (80mm+) increases leverage, enhancing power and precision.

Tool-free binding enables easy adjustment by a certified technician.

Included Bindings

Bindings do not come mounted to the skis. Always have a certified technician mount and adjust the bindings.

Core and Flex Pattern

A wood core with reinforcing basalt fibers provides ultimate response, feel, power, and durability. Fiberglass laminates provide power, flex and stability.

A great ski very easy to turn, good flotation, v good hold on hard snow. Carves almost like a slalom ski...once you get used to the wider waist, real fun to ski on.

Comments about Rossignol Experience 83 Skis + Axium 120 Bindings 2012:

Just an average skier, rented on one trip and that was enough of those long lines and paying to get skis u dont even know anything about. Wanted to experience some tough terrain ans improve so i bought these after doing sme research and they are amazing. So happy with my purchase and recommend anyone at my level or above to get them. They are decent in powder but are amazing on groomed.

Comments about Rossignol Experience 83 Skis + Axium 120 Bindings 2012:

I wanted something a bit more versatile than my current 76 waist skis for my annual ski trips in the West. I tried four different skis (including the Experience 88) and this was the perfect all-round ski. Even with the 83 waist, it does very well on groomed runs and packed bumps. You can't choose your conditions when you are on a week's trip and these skis do well enough in all different ones.
