Rossignol Classic 80 Ti Skis + Axial2 140 Ti Bindings 2010: Outside Magazine's Gear Of The Year for 2009. No-holds-barred, WC sandwich construction with Oversize technology produces the ultimate ripping, aggressive, all-mountain, big-turn cruiser. Technical skiers seeking a powerful and high-performance classic construction ski with a modern, all-mountain sidecut will crave the perfect balance of power and stability of the Rossignol Classic 80 Ti Skis.

  • Core and Flex Pattern:Wood cores provide ultimate feel, power and durability. Rossignol produces 90% of its adult skis with wood cores. Rossignol now uses more wood cores throughout the product lines to produce the best responsive feel with maximized stability. The cores are made from Ash, Poplar and Fume treatments and are hand milled to the shape of each skis profile. Wood used in Rossignol skis is harvested by the factory from sustainable wood, grown in renewable tree farms.
  • Construction:A modern sandwich construction built with wood or Microcell cores, vertical sidewalls, fiberglass and/or metal, high-tech laminates. Changing the laminate materials modifies the ski’s degree of reactiveness and stability. The ROSSITOP mini cap increases the ski’s durability and facilitates rebound. Traditional sidewalls produce crisp, direct edging pressure. Modifying sidewall angles and materials drastically alters the ski’s aggressiveness to match the model’s usage. Vibration Absorbing System Visco elastomer material integrated into the ski’s construction dampens vibrations, adding greater control, stability, and contact with the snow.
  • Shape:Oversize takes the benefits of both shapes and crosses them, allowing for strong performance with ease of control. The aggressive oversized tip & tail dimensions of the carving ski produce precision, strong edging, and power. The wide waist dimension of the freeride ski increases stability and helps tame the strong sidecut. This ski offers extreme manageability and comfortable control from turn to turn.
  • Bindings:An easy, tool-free integrated ski/binding interface system. A control beam combined with Twin VAS (Visco material that absorbs vibrations and facilitates rebound) is integrated into the ski’s construction.

Comments about Rossignol Classic 80 Ti Skis + Axial2 140 Ti Bindings 2010:

Incredibly smooth and stable, holds edge better than any other all-mountain ski I have ever been on. Only ski that holds an edge better is a racing ski. I would recommend this ski to any advanced skier looking for an everyday all-mountain ski. Very lively and fast, very fun, awesome ski!
