Rossignol Attraxion 3S Skis + WTPI²/Saphir 110 Bindings - Women's 2012: The Rossignol Attraxion 3S Skis are the perfect “skis of the day” for dashing down groomers with your girlfriends or keeping an eye on the kids. An Oversized Sidecut provides strong edge hold and stability on firm snowpack, yet dances from turn-to-turn. Women’s Tip Technology provides easy turn initiation while PowerTurn camber gives the ski with excellent energy and snap. Aspiring and advancing female skiers will feel at home on firm snowpack and will appreciate the ease and maneuverability the Attraxion 3S has to offer.
Power Turn Camber has a classic high camber underfoot that delivers power and edge grip for groomed run performance while storing energy and providing explosive snap and boost.
Oversized Sidecut gives strong edging, power, and precision; and wider waist dimensions increase stability and turn initiation ease.
Traditional sandwich construction with vertical sidewalls creates direct edging pressure while the core and fiberglass laminates provide flex and stability.
Women’s Tip Technology is lightweight for easy turn initiation and transition and the tip shape aids rolling the ski edge to edge.
Forward mounting position changes female’s stance on ski, making it lighter for better balance and control. Power ramp interface was engineered to raise the heel which enhances turn initiation.
The Rossignol WTPI²/Saphir 110 Bindings, specifically designed for women, have a shorter interface making them one of the lightest on the market. The Women Twin Pulsion Integral is a tool-free system offering comfort and precision. A control beam, combined with Twin VAS (Visco Material) for absorption, facilitates rebound and directs pressure to tip and tail for a smooth ride. The tool-free binding simply slides on to the integrated TPI system for easy adjustment by a certified technician.
Core and Flex Pattern
A wood core provides ultimate response, feel, power, and durability.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Carving
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for skis offering skiers lots of edge hold, especially on harder snow. A cambered ski has a smooth arch underfoot and contact points near the tip and tail when unweighted. Camber skis excel at carving on hard snow; you won’t ever see a ski racer on anything other than cambered skis.
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Flat
This is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow.
