ON3P Billy Goat Skis 2012: The ON3P Billy Goat Skis return with an additional 191cm length, which is stiffer, wider, and has a longer effective edge & turn radius than the 176cm & 186cm. The ON3P Billy Goat Skis are ON3P’s favorite ski for bouncing through pillow-filled sidestashes, picking your way down tight lines, or running amok through steep trees. The combination of slight camber underfoot, improved rocker profile with a short elliptical shape for improved float in powder and better performance through chop and crud, and tip & tail taper results in a ski that begs to find new frontiers in speed and maneuverability.
Shape
Slight underfoot camber with rocker profile with an elliptical shape for improved float in powder and better performance through chop and crud
Pintail design and taper in the tip and tail that excels in tight trees and soft snow
Construction
UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) sidewalls are incredibly strong, have a higher abrasion resistance than steel and resists cracking unlike ABS.
Durasurf 4001 base material provides ON3P skis with better glide and protection from base damage compared to other sintered and extruded base material, and is 38% thicker than the industry standard.
Designed and hand made in Portland, OR
Flex
Vertically laminated 100% bamboo core, providing a responsive yet damp characteristic to the ON3P skis
Unidirectional carbon stringer is laid on top of each core to add pop, stiffness and dampness without any significant increase in weight.
Stiffer in 191cm
Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.

Comments about ON3P Billy Goat Skis 2012:

The Billy Goats are multidimensional and bring it in all conditions; unlike some powder skis that are only at home in untouched pow. The 191's are super agile and have great control at speed in both pow and hard pack. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a ski that will bust crud, float in powder, and nimbly pick its way through trees.

Comments about ON3P Billy Goat Skis 2012:

I ski this on the steeps, trees and groomers. The ski is stable at speed, turns on a dime, good edge grip for such a wide ski, is forgiving if you get in the back seat, absorbs bumps and jars like it has built in shock absorbers. This ski takes the best of the Mojo, S7 and JJ and combines them into one ski the Billy Goat. This is my favorite ski for 2011/2012 season.

Comments about ON3P Billy Goat Skis 2012:

Done only four trips on these skies with variable snow conditions. So far they crush anything that is not ice or solid groomers. Powder float is excellent. I am center mounted on 186s at 180lbs and 5'9" and have no issues with staying on top of the skies and not falling too far into the back seat. I demo'd S3's, 7's and Francis Bacons before deciding on these to support a local company. No complaints so far.

Comments about ON3P Billy Goat Skis 2012:

Such a great soft snow ski, amazingly nimble in the tree's. WILL charge if you drive them. Not a groomer ski, but will go just fine if you don't ski in the back seat. I have a co-worker who also tours on these every day. ON3P construction and durability is top notch
