Rocker Type

Powder CamRockPowder CamRock skis are built to ski powder in ways never before thought possible. With significant rocker in the tip and tail, these skis float effortlessly. By retaining a bit of camber under foot, these are still exceptionally stable and track comfortably in all snow conditions, even hard pack. The very low, broad, “Blunt Nose” design maximizes on edge snow contact while reducing unstable tip vibration that is a common in other rockered skis.

Medium-StiffRides hard and fast down the slopes while still allowing for precise turns and flotation in pow.

Energy CA wi-CoreOffers a unique all mountain lightweight construction designed specifically for 80% of female skiers and 90% of the terrain on the mountain. With the market trending towards one-ski quivers, this women’s specific lightweight i-core made up of poplar, ash, and two ultra light polyurethane center stringers, provides a very stable and versatile ride in all conditions on any part of the mountain. wi-Core = women’s specific lightweight versatility and stability.

La Niña

from Seattle, WA

Comments about Nordica La Niña Skis - Women's 2015:

I skied the La Niña in a 165cm. I'm a 57 year-old woman, an advanced intermediate skier, 5'7" tall, and 150 pounds. My usual ski is a 180cm Rocker2. I prefer to ski off piste and powder snow. I skied groomers on the La Niña at Stevens Pass on a day when they had not had fresh snow for a week. This ski was awesomely fun on groomers and stable on frozen crud and bumps. I enjoyed the smoothness and nimbleness of the ski. It held well on hard-packed groomers. I would have preferred a longer length and a slightly stiffer ski.

Nordica La Nina 169cm

from Stevens Pass, WA

Comments about Nordica La Niña Skis - Women's 2015:

Height: 5'6 Weight: 130lbs Skiing for: 3 Years I skied the 169cm Nordica La Nina. This ski totally surprised and impressed me! My usual powder ski is a 172 Line Sir Francis Bacon which is 108mm at the waist, so I was skeptical how this 113mm waisted ski would perform on the hard pack conditions we were faced with. It was very stable and delightfully carvable. This could easily be a one ski quiver.
