Nordica La Nina 185cm

Comments about Nordica La Niña Skis - Women's 2013:

I was surprised and impressed by this women's ski, not too many manufacturers make a women's ski this large (and in charge). The La Nina was wide enough to offer stability in cruddy chunder, but still offered an agile, convincing turn on the icy hardpack. Overall I really enjoyed the more playful flex of the tip and tail, and thought the ski would be an excellent choice for a girl who rips!!

A Great Powder Ski

Comments about Nordica La Niña Skis - Women's 2013:

I read up on a bunch of powder skis and was pleased to find great reviews about the La Nina. I got to try them out for the first time in about 3 ft of fresh powder at Monarch Mtn. last saturday. I'm new to using powder skis, and I was pleasantly surprised at how forgiving they were. Very responsive under foot, lightweight and smooth. I loved these skis. I was also able to revert to my old hard charging carving ways and slice a path down the groomers with ease. These substantial, yet lightweight skis did not skid out from under me at high speeds or in variable conditions. I live in New Mexico and have to say the dia de los muertos graphics turn a lot of heads out here. I look forward to many more powder days with these fine skis.

Comments about Nordica La Niña Skis - Women's 2013:

I bought these skis on a whim as I was in the market for some powder skis. I had demo'd a few different pairs, but nothing caught my attention. Walked away a little nervous on the purchase without demoing them. My first day out - 30 cm fresh snow. It was AMAZING! Love at first turn. I love powder and trees, and these skis do it all. I gushed so much my husband didn't know what to do with me. I have a solid larger athletic frame 5'9, 170 - and usually women's skis are pretty flat for me, but these are fun without being flimsy. It's nice to have feminine graphics that aren't girly too!

Comments about Nordica La Niña Skis - Women's 2013:

Only got out on these briefly before season's end on a full day of 10-18" of "whipped cream cheese" snow and they were outstanding! Great float, smooth on turn initiation and finish and carved like a knife on the high speed groomer to do it all over again. I'm a guy with 45 years of skiing experience and this is my second pair of so-called "women's" skis.I didn't detune the rocker tip so they were hooky on slow-speed packed areas.

Comments about Nordica La Niña Skis - Women's 2013:

I've mounted these with telemark bindings, and they are super fun! I ride Voile Chargers also, which I still prefer in tight chutes and trees, but these are very stable for jumping off stuff, have been amazing in all types of snow, and are a fun ski! They make punchy, crusty, variable snow so much easier, and actually fun! They do fine on groomers and harder stuff due to the camber underfoot, but it still wouldn't be my choice for hard pack. If you want to go faster and bigger in all types of snow, I recommend these!

Comments about Nordica La Niña Skis - Women's 2013:

These are the only skis in my quiver this season, and they're all I need. I use them everywhere on Whistler and Blackcomb. They are way easier to turn than I thought they would be given their width underfoot, and I can pop off wicked rail turns on groomers no problem. They're awesome in the powder - great float and really responsive. And the graphic is sick and gnarly - lots of people comment on it on the chair. I actually opted for the 2013 ski rather than the 2014 because my understanding is it's the exact same ski, just a diferent graphic.
