Rocker Type

Powder CamRockPowder CamRock skis are built to ski powder in ways never before thought possible. With significant rocker in the tip and tail, these skis float effortlessly. By retaining a bit of camber under foot, these are still exceptionally stable and track comfortably in all snow conditions, even hard pack. The very low, broad, “Blunt Nose” design maximizes on edge snow contact while reducing unstable tip vibration that is a common in other rockered skis.

Comments about Nordica El Capo Skis 2015:

I got the 2015 Marker Griffons 110 on here too for 160 bucks... incredible combo. You will not be able to beat this combo without spending a K somewhere else. Good tweener ski pretty nimble and floats without problem and I'm 6'6" 280Lbs. Check that 285Lbs. had a 30oz ribeye and a grip of vino the night before riding them.

Comments about Nordica El Capo Skis 2015:

I am an expert skier and ex pro ski patrol. I am 5'9" and 230 pounds and a not so young 58 years old. I also have Nordica Enforcers and Fire arrow 84 EDT skis in addition to my K2, Blizzard and Rossignol skis. I got a great deal on these and bindings from EVO. I got free mounting because I bought both. I skied these yesterday 3/2/16 at Stevens Pass Ski Resort in Washington state. They are very and I mean very quick turning. There was 10 inches of new snow that had been rained on and was very heavy. I was skiing crud over hard pack and had a blast on these. I instantly felt confident on them. I feel that this ski is a great all mountain ski that appears to have no limits. There is a good chance that these will become my daily driver. They are less stiff than my 98mm under foot Enforcers that I also really like. An advanced to expert skier can ski these hard and get great performance from them in all conditions anywhere on the mountain.

Comments about Nordica El Capo Skis 2015:

WOW!!! Finally a ski that can keep up. The more you pour into this ski the more you get. Carving on fresh groomers is like butter. Blasting through crud wasn't a problem. By far the best is opening these skis up on steep, deep, and long powder drops. Easily one of the best all mountain skis I've tried.

Comments about Nordica El Capo Skis 2015:

First pair of Nordica skis for me, and I love them. Rrrrrrrippers!
These are very good everyday skis, if you're lucky enough to ski that much. I would say they are very good everyweekend skis too, but everyweekend isn't a word.
Rubber bumper on the tail is a very nice feature for those little moments when leaning against the car or in a ski rack on one of these newfangled paved ski 'plaza' areas.
These are Very well crafted planks, engineered in Italy and constructed in Austria by people that I reckon care a lot about skiing. The love is there.

Get 'em before they are gone...!

Comments about Nordica El Capo Skis 2015:

Bought a pair of these "Big Boy" skis for my son after reading the reviews so he could go fast more safely.
I borrowed them this past Saturday 4/9/2016 at Wildcat Ski Area in NH (across from Mount Washington) and boy was I impressed! So much so that I went out and bought a pair for myself today, especially with the extra 20% off!.
I Skied variable spring conditions (frozen granular, ice, loose granular, and corn) with complete confidence launching off drop offs at speed with smooth landings. Felt like I could jam on the brakes by setting edges and shutting them down at will with no fear of them sliding out from under me.
We will still use a pair of our Rocker 2's on "powder days" or heli-skiing but if you're looking to bomb down the mountain with confidence at a resort, these are it!

Comments about Nordica El Capo Skis 2015:

Was finally able to break these out for some spring storms in Steamboat. Just an all around great ski, especially in choppy powder or heavy snow. They are wider than I am used to, but once I got the feel of them was amazed at how well they carved and did in the trees. I am a bigger guy (6'2", 220lbs) and they feel damp at speed but float great. Very little tip chatter, which is always a deal breaker for me. A heavier ski for sure, but they feel really smooth and the quality seems top notch.
