Comments about Nordica Ace Skis 2014:

I used these skis for a season and loved them. They are playful enough for rails and butters but solid enough underfoot for sending booters deep. They also held up on the ungroomed stuff aswell. oh and yeah they are Extreamly light.

Comments about Nordica Ace Skis 2014:

I bought these skis as icy day + park skis as they are significantly narrower than my other skis, not rockered and reasonably stiff. My other skis are Soul 7s which don't like to be pushed hard on groomers when it's hard packed or icy. I also find that taking off from jumps with rockered skis is a little more nuanced.... hence the Nordicas.

I mounted them 3cm back from the true/symmetrical centerline. I have only had one day on them because I was away for a while but I took them out night skiing at Snoqualmie for a few hours. Lots of ripping icy groomers and a few park laps (I hit jumps, none of that rail/box nonsense). They were fun to carve, hold speed well and are much easier to get from edge to edge than fatter skis. They are solid when landing from jumps (OK, I only did a few 180s as I haven't got my 360 mojo back yet).

Overall I recommend these if you already have some fatter or all mountain skis for when it's snowing, or if you just like to send it big in the park.

Comments about Nordica Ace Skis 2014:

To get a ski that holds up to the firmer conditions of the East Coast, I have been skiing skis with metal in them for years. These are no different, being nice and stiff, allowing you to bomb through or over anything in your way. They hold upp at speed very well, and are solid on the park/pipe. These Nordica's push back for every bit of energy you put into them, which makes them super fun. Riding switch is smooth, and they have a subtle, yet interesting topsheet, which I appreciate. I wanted a ski with metal, knowing that they would be a bit heavier, but there are pros and cons to all skis, and they are not too heavy at all.
The narrower waist allows for snappy edge to edge transitions as well as being quicker in the bumps.

Comments about Nordica Ace Skis 2014:

I've never really had park skis and these things just crush it. They're a bit heavy but since I got them shorter than my other sticks, it's not that bad. They also do a good job of ripping most of the mountain. Not super confident at high speeds but I think that's due to the shorter length.
