Shape
Traditional camber profile gives you camber underfoot and maintains edge pressure when flexed into an arc and provides strength and rebound
Construction
UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) sidewalls are extremely light, durable, and resistant to separation.
Full race base provides maximum speed and wax retention. Moment uses sublimated graphics to eliminate the cracking and peeling common on die-cut bases.
VDS dampening system is placed over the edges and in several other key locations to mellow any harsh vibrations.
Triaxial fiberglass, woven in a 0°/45°/-45° fashion, provides maximum strength and resistance against twisting.
Flex
Moment uses Aspen/Ash wood core on skis that need to be able to withstand a beating. Ash provides amazing binding retention, strength and dampening; Aspen adds durability and reduces weight to the core.
More carbon fiber stringers than in the Moment Jib skis provide more pop and snap and are extremely strong and lightweight
Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.
