Comments about Moment Bibby Pro Skis 2010:

I spent most of last season on this year's 190cm Bibby, and it quickly became my everyday ski here in Colorado. As expected, the 118mm waist & tip rocker gives you great float in deep powder making the tips virtually unsinkable. On a day with two feet of new snow, I had no problems keeping my large size (220 lbs) afloat. What I liked most about the Bibby was how easy it was to slash a turn while still keeping your momentum downhill. Once the fresh lines vanish, these skis still perform excellent in tracked-out conditions. The slight tapered tip design allows them to slice through soft crud, and the added stiffness underfoot allows me to remain aggressive even when snow conditions change quickly. Most rockered skis on the market are great in soft snow but don't perform desirably in firmer conditions. Days after a big storm, I found firm chalky firm snow on moderate pitches that offered a true test for how these would perform. Even at questionable high speeds, the stiffness of the 190cm Bibby provided enough stability to not worry. On hardpack, the slight amount of camber underfoot allows you to carve if you choose to (the 186cm Bibby has flat camber). The rockered tail makes it easier to release out of your turns while allowing forgiveness if you find yourself in the backseat or on an off-balance landing. Construction of this ski is top notch and you will be hard-pressed to find something more durable. I've hit numerous rocks over thirty-plus days on the Bibby and there's only superficial scratches on the bases with no core shots at all. Overall, I think this is one of Moment's most versatile ski and one that has handled all conditions very well. As long as you don't plan on skiing much sastrugi, avalanche debris, or crazy wind-affected snow, you'll be plenty stoked on them. [...]

Comments about Moment Bibby Pro Skis 2010:

These are by far the best skis I have ever clipped into! I'm 150lbs and 5'6", and they are so managable, I handle the 186 perfectly fine. The obvious perk of these skis is their powder performance; they are absolutly unsinkable! I've skied every powder day this season with these, including days with 4ft+ of fluff, and they absolutly cruise through with no drag at all. Drops, jumps, and switch riding in the deep pow are cake. But I kind of expected this when I bought them. What I did not expect is how well they do on groomers. These things iniciate carves so easily, and grip super well once in one. Seriously, one of the best groomer skis I've ever used. These things can also slay in the park, giving the necessary pop that more noodley powder skis don't, but of course they are a little clumsey on the technical stuff. The only criticism I can give to these skis is that they can be a little work in tight trees, but the way they charge when you get a little open room more than makes up for it.

The bibby is the perfect ski for the PNW! It blasts through northwest crud, holds tough on the firm icy days we have often had this season and helps you float like those water wings your mom made you wear when you learning how to swim back in the day! It's also a super uber fun to jib around on in the park!

Comments about Moment Bibby Pro Skis 2010:

I took these out to Revelstoke for a week in March and altough there was only one day of good powder, I got a chance to open these planks up over a lot of different terrian. They were phenominal to say the least. Great float. Good edge. Lightweight and the biggest tickler was how well the 186s got around in the trees. Only recommendation is to watch the brakes on you bindings - I had some Salomons on there and spacing between the brake and the ski was just enough so it caught the other ski sometimes. Overall, they make summer seem like the dark months of the year. Love them.

Great ski! Super fun. The only conditions I steer away from this ski are rock hard ice. Then the are a bit squirley.

I ski compeitively and tried this ski for the first time. All I can say is they were not what I expected. The quality build is sloppy and was unimpressed with the ski's performance. The square tip is awesome looking though. You'd think a "hand made" ski would be better?

Comments about Moment Bibby Pro Skis 2010:

Dang Man! Its like a jib ski for the whole mountain. Super poppy tip and tail makes jumping, drops and all sorts of features even more fun. The ski is still very stable under your foot making it possible to ski the park and the groomers. The "rocker" in the ski creates the shape a ski makes when it is put into a turn, allowing it to be a quick and nimble ski. The early taper in the skis eliminates hooking and makes reverting easier.

One ski quiver. Buy and you'll have fun.
