Comments about Line Skis Super Hero Skis - Youth - Boy's 2013:

I bought the Super Heroes for my 10-year-old, who is a competitive park and pipe skier. He liked the feel and it is a super light ski. Too light! The first weekend of training, the binding pulled out (mounted by a competent ski shop owner). Then, by Christmas, the tip delaminated and the ski began to split. I epoxied. By New Year's, the ski had delaminated underfoot. I epoxied. Day before comp in Steamboat, the tip split again. I epoxied and ordered him the K2 Juvy. Oh, and I contacted Line and detailed this experience, asking what they could do. They never responded! My son skis hard, but he weighs less than 70lb. So, this ski just doesn't hold up in the park. I guess it would be okay for easy groomer skiing, but it doesn't really have the shape for that. Don't touch this ski for a young park skier! Go with the K2 Juvy - a lot of the P & P team use it here. My son immediately took a step forward off bigger jumps when he got on the Juvy. We also had good luck with Nordica Ace of Spades last year.
