Product Info

Line Skis StepUp Skis 2011: Step up and call droppin’ next on the only park ski in the world with the construction, the pop, the power, the stability, and the symmetry to conquer the biggest features in the biggest parks on earth, the Line Skis StepUp Ski. With a true twin shape and skate deck construction for added pop, it’s everyone else’s turn to be a spectator.

Product Details

Shape

The true twin shape allows for backwards skiing and landings.

Construction

Skate Deck Construction includes a 7-ply Rock Maple veneer Skate Deck that runs edge–to–edge, tip–to–tail. Just like a skateboard deck, the Maple veneer provides uncompromised strength and resistance to shock throughout the entire ski.

Flex

Carbon Ollieband is vertically laminated carbon-fiber stringers that allow for more energy and pop for big ollies. The symmetric flex puts flex in front and behind your boot which conforms to terrain equally riding forward and backwards.

Binding Compatibility

Requires a wide brake binding with a brake width between 90mm and 95mm

Great all round ski for eastern skiing. Best park ski I've owned. Not afraid to go big or hit rails boxes ect. Solid stable ski. Road these at whistler and thy held up well in the powered. Only thing is they are a little heavy in powder

Comments about Line Skis StepUp Skis 2011:

These skis are legit. Wanted to get some skis I could bang around more and not worry about scratching them up. These fit the bill. They are super sturdy, and that makes them a bit heavy. They are symetrical twin tips so skiing switch is easier. Factory center mounted is the stock alignment. I'm just getting into park skiing, so I took these out on the rest of the mountain for a half day and had a blast. They are super responsive and stiff enough to hold and edge. Did fine in the bumps...although having them center mounted made over turning a challenge at first. They only come in this one size, so I guess that has scared off some skiiers that are less tall (I'm 6'4").

Comments about Line Skis StepUp Skis 2011:

the only reason why I say poor construction is because there is no sidewall and the LINE step-up is wooden, so it caused me to get some splinters when picking them up. But besides that the construction is awesome for the price of the LINE step-up, and riding switch on these skis is excellent.

Comments about Line Skis StepUp Skis 2011:

great skis. the description should specify explicitly that these are symmetrical skis with mid-sole mark at the center of the ski. without much thinking, i asked the tech to mount the bindings at +1.5cm, which turned out too much forward, and i had to remount. othwerwise a great ski.
either way, will be limited in thicker/fresh snow conditions, but great in park, on groomers, moguls, etc.
