Comments about Line Skis Prophet 98 Skis 2014:

I have the 2012-2013 version and I am totally a believer! Vail, Steamboat, and Mary Jane/Winter Park are my stomping grounds and this ski made me feel sometimes like the best skier on the mountain, in steeps to double black to any bumps- small or those cut-up monsters. After many years of avoidance my buddies talked me back into the glades, knee deep powder, and trees and I did not skip a beat, my confidence level has soared. BUT long smoother steeps are not for these skis, too much work holding an edge at speed.

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 98 Skis 2014:

This is my second pair of these, they are great all mountain skis! They can handle anything you can throw at them, groomer, chop, corn and lower amounts of powder. I wouldn't expect too much out of them in over a foot of fresh but anything under that they shine!!

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 98 Skis 2014:

I am an older skier with bad habits well ingrained. I was struggling in spring slush with my all-mountain Blizzard 8.1s. Getting knocked into the back seat, over turning and spinning out. Trying to control speed often resulted in over turning and ending up going backwards. Great for ripping a tendon! I was ready to give up spring skiing. Yesterday I tested 3 skis in spring crud. A Solomon, with full rocker was really squirrelly highly responsive but all over the place with no tracking ability. A Blizzard with tip rocker was better than the Solomon, bit both tended to loose tail grip and spin out. The LINE 98 was great. Easy turn in with good tail hook up. Tried all of these skis on some shaded groomed ice and all 3 chattered, so that is a negative, but the trade off for spring conditions is well worth it. I hated the idea of buying skis made in China, and the skin tone/lime green graphics are stupid. Also, we used to laugh at people on LINE skis as totally uncool. I don't think they will hold up like an Austrian ski, but they were cheap and they work great!
