Comments about Line Skis Prophet 98 Skis 2012:

Got on these during demo days this spring. They were one of the last skis I tried out of 14 that day. WOW! Went from untracked spring powder to cut-up to groomers like they were an extension of my legs. These are definitly going to be the go-to-ski for me. I've been waiting for the release of these. BETTER HURRY!

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 98 Skis 2012:

These skis are incredibly light and playful. I live on the east coast, and we've had very little snowfall, so I've been using these skis on mostly ice. While I can't vouch for their responsiveness in powder, I have been able to use them in a variety of conditions. They can hold an edge on sheet ice, float over crud, and rip down groomers. These skis are awesome!

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 98 Skis 2012:

I have been skiing for a long long time and recently decided to retire my straight 200 cm K2 skis.

I did a lot of research. I wanted something that would work well in the heavy crud, and the powder, and on groomed trails. (If it's icy and hardpack, I stay home... not interested.)

These fit the bill to a T. They crash through wet spring snow, work great on groomers (even if they are a bit icy), and I'm sure they'll be great in what passes for "powder" here in the PNW.

They are fairly lightweight and as such I suspect if you were really flying, they might feel a bit nervous underfoot, but they are a nice dynamic ski precisely because of the rocker and camber and overall light build.

Absolutely Fantastic Ski, handles everything on the mountain with ease, Can bust through crud, float on powder, speed down groomed runs and hit the moguls with authority. they're surprisingly agile, more so than the blizzard bonafides, and really do well in the bumps and trees. They're easy to ski on and won't tire you out.

Bought these after checking them out all last year. Can't wait to ski them this year out in Keystone and Grand Targhee. I am no expert reviewer, but from where I was coming from this is a huge improvement. I was looking for one ski that can handle the pow and also take me all around the front side with some back side fun too. Went with the Line's over K2 purely because of the weight difference and I just really don't care for the main big shops like K2, Volkl, etc. They are all great skis and these are the ones for me. My wife got some Line Celebrity, or she will soon for her birthday. She really loved the graphics on hers. Love me some Evo for ski and wakeboard gear. I

I demoed these back in February and loved them to death. They have the flotation and smooth ride of fat, powder skis, but the early rise system gives great maneuverability in the moguls and groomers. Plus you can't beat evo's prices!

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 98 Skis 2012:

At 56 I've skied more then my share, and experienced more then most. From the moment I got off the lift for the first time I knew I was moving on something special. They carve tight on hard pack and float through powder like your on air. And they bust through crud like they were begging for the challange. A great all mountain ski for skiers of any ability. Because of the Early Rise/Camber construction order a little long. My 179's ski like 179's in powder but like 172's on hardpack. I haven't lost the grin on my face since the first day I used them. Read the reviews, they are all true. This is the best ski I have ever been on and the best improvement in skis since the invention of step in bindings.

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 98 Skis 2012:

98 Ain't to fat. I switched from a 128, 76, something parabolic, to this ski (132, 98, something) as my primary ski (after breaking the old ones) and don't regret it. After 6 days of variable conditions (powder to wet and heavy) I'm updating my first review. In powder and soft snow they are AWSOME. For a light weight skier (less than my 200 lbs) it may be the best one quiver ski out there! Best for powder and soft snow the ski does fine on groomers and is surprisingly good on hardpack/ice. This is a great all-around ski! It can do incredible things: even better than you...if you can stand neutral and balanced in your boot all the time. The Prophet 98 is a tad soft for my 200 lbs. Especially if the snow is chunky and heavy. It has a short turn radius, and don't get forward on it (cause you'll go above any line you're looking at (like go above the tree and hit the branches after hitting that patch of chuncky. My nose will heal). I love this ski, but am looking for something a little more athletic.

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 98 Skis 2012:

I was hesitant to step up to the Line Prophet 98 from a ski with a 76 mm waist. Why didn't I do this years ago? If you want a versitile all mountain one quiver ski don't be afraid of the 98 mm waist. It's flawless in soft snow and holds its own on groomers with only minor chatter. When you get it on edge it has a surprisingly short turn radius. If you ski the steep, in the trees, and need to turn, this is the ski. I love 'em.
