The Line Skis Prophet 80 maintains the spirit of the Prophet family in an 80mm waist width, making it the most versatile ALL-MOUNTAIN freeride ski Line has ever created. The heart of its power results from its state of the art Metal Matrix technology modified to actually wrap over the top of the core, extending down the walls to the edges of the ski underfoot. The result is edge-grip, power and that will make east coast ice feel like west coast groomers and cut though the park. The freeride-specific flex and geometry work together fro effortless turn initiation, strong fall line directional handling and powerful acceleration out of your turns on all terrain and conditions. Its unique Directional Twin tail maximizes edge length in contact with the snow for added stability with plenty of fakie ability whenever you feel the urge. Skiing just feels better when everything’s a blur.

  • Metal Matrix:A 3 dimensionally die-cut titanium laminate wrapped over the core, More power where you need it, Reduced swing weight, Enhanced edge-grip under foot and torsional responsiveness at the tips
  • Quickmount:Four stainless steel inserts are mounted into each ski during the lamination process, User-friendly Line binding mounting and interchangeability between multiple skis
  • Freeride Geometry:Wider tip and narrower tail incorporated into a special blend of 5 different radii, Effortless turn initiation, solid edge hold, and quick responsive exits, Keeps the ski in the fall line for powerful directional stability and handling
  • Freeride Directional Flex:Ski is progressively stiffer for tip to tail, Powerful acceleration out of turns and directional stability that works in conjunction with the freeride geometry
  • 4D Fibercap:Fiberglass is layered in 4 directions are the core of the ski, Uncompromised strength and responsiveness in every direction throughout the ski

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 80 2006:

I bought this ski for my daughter, who wanted a twin tip for trying some tricks, but also wanted a strong but light mid-fat ski for all mountain powder and hardpack. She finds it works well in all conditions and loves the unusual graphics. I liked the good deal.

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 80 2006:

An excellent ski. I love the Prophet 80. It's just what I expected from Line. It works great for downhill skiing and makes carving smooth and easy. The only downside is the weight. It's a bit heavy. Other than that it's a great ski with awesome decals.

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 80 2006:

these skis kick mountain backside, well balanced and light. i had them center mounted for the park and they still carve well down the mountain. i skied on Salomon 1080s last season and i'd recommend the Lines instead if you're hitting the park, there are better all mountain skis but none more fun over kickers.

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 80 2006:

I loved riding on these things, they allow you to speed down the hill or go through moguls. What I like best about them is the fact that you can skim on top of powder, it's what these skis are really for.
