Comments about Line Skis Mothership Skis 2010:

This ski likes to go straight and it likes to go fast. Don't be fooled by thinking that just because this is a LINE, it is soft. This ski is not soft. It is stiff. This ski is very stable at speeds and excels in large, open spaces.

That being said, I don't see this as a good resort ski. It doesn't like to turn unless you have a lot of soft snow and it isn't forgiving in the slightest. Bottom line for this Mother of a Ship, if you are very strong, and like stiff skis that go straight, then take the plunge. If not, might I suggest something a little more mellow?

Comments about Line Skis Mothership Skis 2010:

Due to a very light snowpack and way too many rocks I have barely been able to ski these ultrasick boards. However, the days I have skied them I have had an unbelievable amount of fun. I work as a patrol at a small area in OR and cannot wait for enough snow to fall so I can put away the old rock skis again and get back on these guys. So far I have skied them in pow, crud and end of the day gaper bumps. They performed flawlessly in all of these conditions and held an edge well on the groomers. If you ski with reckless abandon for your own well being and consider super g style turns "a little to short" these are the boards for you, if you are at all timid they will kick your behind so consider yourself informed.

Comments about Line Skis Mothership Skis 2010:

These skis are big, stiff, responsive monsters. I use them on the steepest inbounds skiing in Utah; trees, rocky pitches, chutes, drops, bowls, even groomers. They handle them all with an aggressiveness I have never seen. No, they are not forgiving, but they will do anything you ask at any speed, slow, medium and particulatly fast. It still amazes me how I can change edges at will at break neck speeds. In the trees, just look way ahead because you won't want to stop or slow down as you take lines and turns you didn't think you could do. They test your nerve.

People that have trouble with this must be babying them. The harder you push, the better they respond.

Last thing. I ski where traversing is a way of life, and better than any other rockered or early rise skis I've tried, they scream along.
