The Line Skis Invader is the most advanced jib ski ever created. Started on the east coast Line Skis has their roots in the jib scene. The Invader is the only ski in the world with 100% symmetric, center mounted with Butterzone Technology, in a width that excels on firm terrain.

  • 100% Symmetric Flex and Sidecut, Center Mount, Elliptical Geometry 4D Fibercap:Fiberglass is layered in 4 directions around the core of the ski. Uncompromised strength and responsiveness in every direction, 90* sidewall fiberglass reinforces ski above edges
  • Butter Zones:Ski’s profile is milled thinner at a specific point in the tip and tail to create a distinct “hinge” point, smooth and controllable nose/tail presses and buttering, does not reduce all-mountain handling
  • Carbon Ollieband:Pre-stretched, vertically laminated carbon-fiber stringers, more pop & energy where you need it, reduced weight
  • Macroblock Core:100% wood core made from the widest and highest quality wood laminates, lightest, strongest wood core in the Universe, long camber and energy life
  • Fatty Base & Edge:Twice the thickness of standard base and edge, extremely durable & impact resistant, tune your skis many more times Wrap Around Edge- Edge wraps entire tip with no seam, ultimate durability

This is a GREAT ski. It's flex makes it very easy to butter on and off jumps and rails. It is very lightweight and easy to spin and is an awesome ski in the pipe. Its even good in the powder and groomed trails. Its totally symmetrical build makes it just as easy to carve backwards as it is forwards. The coating does scratch maybe a little more then some skis but, if you like the park and going switch, then this is the ski for you.

The ski was and still is a great preformance. I ski with these skis mainly in the park and they are pretty agile. It is EXTREMELY flexy and is perfect for nose butters and tail butters. Because it is so light it is great for switch up's as well as spins in and out of rails. They've got great pop and are excellent for those switch 9's, 10's, and bio 7's. Unfortunately the cons, that I exerienced, are that the tail of my ski delaminated on the tail tip the first day, I do plan to return the ski though. Maybe it was just a faulty ski but the carbon ollieband did submerge. However the ski still ski's alright and still is responsive. The only main problem being that the top sheet is real fragile. If your looking for a cheap, one or two season ski, these planks will likely suffice.

Comments about Line Skis Invader 2008:

Ski handles great in the park. Butters off rails real easily and I have found it to be much better off big kickers than I initially thought. Very lightweight and easy to spin. Only negative is it scratches very easily. If you are a serious park skier than this is a great investment
