Comments about Line Skis Influence 105 Skis 2012:

Great skis. Reasonably stiff to hold solid at speed. Wide enough through the waist for New Zealand powder.

Rocker helps the carving, holds a great edge on piste. Wouldn't even know they are 105 underfoot.

Mounted with Marker Baron and they are a little heavy but doesn't hinder the skiing.

Comments about Line Skis Influence 105 Skis 2012:

I demo'd these a few times before pulling the trigger on the purchase, and they performed pretty much as advertised in Line's official description. I find them to be very nimble and at the same time very grippy. Here in the NW we get some pretty heavy "powder", and life can get interesting when it's steep, icy, with a layer or pockets of crud. These have enough float to deal with the crud, grip really well on ice, and respond well enough in all of it to keep me off the rocks. Under nice groomed conditions, these are just plain sick fun, and they're likewise great when you have good fresh snow on the steeps. But for me the test of a ski is how it handles when conditions are bony, because I plan on being out there still tearing it up while all a y'all are huddling in the lodge with your flavored vodka and [*]. Truly love these, cause I like to go faaasst. I have them set up with dedicated alpine bindings, but I thought long and hard about maybe setting them up for AT. I think these would be great for variable AT conditions, and I've heard of others setting them up this way. I don't know how these would do in the park, but that's not their intent.

Comments about Line Skis Influence 105 Skis 2012:

I use this ski as my go to. Demoed many 2012 models built for the powder leaning all mountain segment and LOVED this one more than any other. Great full on powder ski that will not leave you disappointed. Surprisingly, it also screams groomers without leaving you with the "I want to be riding something else today" feeling. Love this ski. Great artwork. Highly recommend.

Remarkably easy to ski, grips on ice, handles the bumps, makes small turns in tight places, rips through anything soft.

This is an amazing ski, I was surprised how good it was on the groomers and hardpack - really secure, could hold an edge really well, very stable at speed. Able to carve big turns but also not bad at short radius turns considering how wide it is underfoot.

Where it really excels is soft snow and powder, great flotation. Its become my everyday ski this year - love it!

Comments about Line Skis Influence 105 Skis 2012:

Smooth carving all-mountain ski. Felt plenty of control in conditions all the way down the mountain, the tails came around easy in cut up crud up top, hardpack and and slush at the bottom. I could open it up or just make controlled short swing turns. This ski was happy with it all.
