The Line anthem is great in the park. On rails, boxes, and jumps of all sizes. I feel like I can stomp any trick. Even if I overshoot the jump a little or land in the back seat, the ski just butters out of it with no problem. They are light and poppy, I can finally get my skis around when doing switch-ups on rails. I found that the base scratches sometimes, but not very often on rails, mostly on rocks. I recommend it to anyone who like riding the park and wants to get better.

Comments about Line Skis Anthem Skis 2010:

Have riden these for around a month of spring - experiencing most kinds of snow from (heavier) powder to slush.

Even tho you will have these skis true centre mounted they will hold up well in the powder thanks to the skis extra width (93mm waist, 119mm tip & tail) - you may find yourself leaning back a bit but being a jibber your probably doing that anyway.
It could be argued that the flex pattern designed for buttering and park use may actually help in the powder - providing a virtual rocker effect. The ski is designed with butter zones allowing a progressive flex in the fore & aft of the ski whilst under foot remaining more traditionally stiff. When on powder your body weight alone will result in an early rise nose and tail, or the 'rocker' effect as it is known. Found a few rocks on my travels and would argue that the 'fatty' base is in fact thicker than average.

Before you slay too many rails the ski will give you a nice edge grip for fun fast carving - but of coarse those nice sharp edges will only last so long if you are a serious park skier. Once you have skied rails as with any ski you can't expect to hold as good an edge as you used to. However the 'fatty' edges although worn have not cracked (yet) unlike the Salomon Shoguns I was using at the start of the year. I would rate the durability also better than average.

The top sheet has plenty of gashes and scars from the opposing ski bashing into it - some of these down to the wood core, the performance in this area is a little disappointing. However the ski has essentially not been affected, it could be described as surface or superficial damage

When I had the Invader which is a similar ski it was great for learning butters and presses - once I had them dialed I was able to take the new found skills to stiffer skis. Then people would think all the skis I used were really buttery but I told them it was me not the ski! Coming back to the softness of the Anthem took a few runs to adjust but its great fun and I would highly recommend them for someone who wants to slay hard in the park - shred the whole mountain (switch) and anyone who wants to learn butters.

        BOOM.

Great skis with awesome playful flex in the butter zone on the tip and tail. Love the true twin tip center mount making them an awesome toy.... Havent had the pleasure of taking them out in the spring time skiing, but am really looking forward to that! Enjoy.....

I knew I was going to use this as a mostly all-mountain ski so I mounted them back 3cm. They still shred in the park and swing weight is barely noticeable. By mounting them back you definitely receive more float in powder. I bought my skis a little long to last me a couple seasons (I'm 5'6 and 120 pounds) I got the 171's. I recommend these to anyone that would like to progress in the park and still have their skis there to back them up in any conditions on the mountain.
