For the backcountry booter connoisseur, Liberty skis specifically developed the Liberty Joe Schuster Pro Skis. Designed by X-Games medalist and Liberty athlete, Joe Schuster, this ski was made for powder pillaging and kicker crushing. Whether you plan on hucking dubs off of a wind lip or just running non-stop pow laps with the boys, this ultra floaty, super playful ski will keep your stoke meter maxed and your progression dial cranked. Surrender the controls to the Liberty Joe Schuster Pro Skis and embrace the raddness that is sure to ensue.
Bomb Rocker – Full tip and tail rocker with slight positive camber under foot for maximum float and versatility.
Speed Core – Bamboo laminated with poplar for light weight, durability, and liveliness.
Fiber Reinforced Polymer – Liberty uses mats of this dense material under the binding area to increase screw retention and add rigidity.
Quadaxial Glass – Liberty's custom weave fiberglass creates tremendous torsional stability while allowing easy longitudinal flex to initiate turns and absorb terrain. While more expensive than other bi and tri- directional weaves, it enables Liberty to fine tune the flex characteristics of each ski.
Bamboo Backbone – Laminated bamboo gives tremendous rebound and energy while being environmentally friendly.
Durathane – A Poly-Urethane bumper to smooth out the ride and protect against top sheet chipping.
ABS and Whitewalls – Extra thick ABS helps reinforce against impacts and transmits energy for improved edge grip. Liberty's Whitewalls are made of resilient and repairable UHMW PE, for a smooth and durable ride.
P-Tex 4000
HRC 48 – Liberty's specially treated HRC 48 edges feature a wider profile with larger anchors for greater durability and longer life.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
