Product Details

Shape

Stealth Rocker is a radial tip rocker with camber under foot and a flat tail for easy turn initiation and great soft snow performance without sacrificing edge grip and energy return

Cab4 progressive, centered stance

Liberty’s fattest skis feature a dual radius elongated tip and tail for smooth powder riding and exceptional quickness in variable conditions

Construction

PTex is a fast and durable sintered base.

HRC48 edges feature a wider profile with larger anchors for greater durability.

FRP, Fiber Reinforced Polymer is used under the binding area to increase screw retention and add rigidity.

Durathane, a poly-urethane bumper, smooths out the ride and protects against topsheet chipping.

UHMW sidewalls are made of a rugged and reparable mater with a layer of rubber below for smooth riding and durability. Tougher than ABS

Flex

Quadaxial fiberglass creates tremendous torsional stability while allowing easy longitudinal flex to initiate turns and absorb terrain. This fiberglass allows for fine tuning of the flex characteristics.

Laminated bamboo gives tremendous rebound and energy while being environmentally friendly.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.

Comments about Liberty Double Helix Skis 2012:

This ski is sweet! I have ridden it at Crystal and Jackson Hole, both times in mixed conditions. They float, carve, and bomb the hell out big gnarly slopes. I found them very stable at high speed while straight-lining and arching huge turns. Liberty skis are very light for their size and plenty stout with bamboo throughout the core.

Comments about Liberty Double Helix Skis 2012:

These skis have performed well for me everytime i step on the mountain. They have enough rocker so that you can float well in the pow. Not as much as the hellbents to the point where you can't even take them on groomers because of the chatter. They are very durable. I've had em for 2 years and have no coreshots or edge cracks. You can take them down most runs despite the fatness of them. I've even taken park laps on them it wasn't bad at all. Very stable and fast as well and great for stomping cliffs. Remember to slap some good bindings on them for the utmost satisfaction. Definitely buy these skis!
