K2 WayBack Skis 2010: The K2 WayBack prefers small crowds and rustic huts to busy resorts and grandiose lodges. A super light wood core with an abundance of carbon fiber makes this one of the lightest mid-fats on the market. It excels at long approaches and pays increasingly greater dividends the further one ventures into the mountains. A shallow and progressive sidecut and powder tip makes it ultra predictable in high alpine conditions like wind scoured sastrugi or sun crust.
