Hey Speedy Gonzales, we've got the ski for you. Pack a fire extinguisher, because you're going to be bringing the heat to the mountain when you put on the K2 SuperBurnin Skis. Designed with ex-ski racers and aggressive skiers who frequent hard snow in mind, the SuperBurnins have all the features you need to take care of business, and fast. Thanks to features like camber-driven Speed Rocker and Speed Rox technology, you won't need to worry about not being able to tackle ice or kick someone's booty in a race. Perfect your turns on firm and steep runs in the K2 SuperBurnin Skis.
Speed Rocker This slightly elevated tip and increased tip length provides effortless initiation and flawless transitions, while camber along the rest of the running surface delivers precision, power, and edge-hold.
BioFlex Cores All of K2’s women’s skis use cores that feature a combination of Aspen, Paulownia, and Bamboo. BioFlex cores are comprised of strong Aspen wood underfoot, which is fused with lightweight Paulownia in the tip and tail using a specific interlocking pattern that reduces swing-weight and provides a smooth-flexing ski. Bioflex 3 – 80% Aspen/20% Paulownia – Increased performance, strength, and durability
Mod Technology High-Performance Suspension System Mod functions by absorbing vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge-hold and a higher degree of power and control. Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, allowing the overall ski flex to be unaffected.
Carbon Web Enveloping the Mod structure with a carbon weave where the strands of carbon are laid at precise angles for an additional level of torsional rigidity on the secondary core. This keeps the ski light but gives you the additional torsional strength where you need it most.
Metal Laminate Built from the base up, a metal laminate construction consists of alternating layers of fiberglass and titanal above and below the core. Metal Laminates provide damp, accurate, unshakable performance, ideal for expert and advanced level skiers.
Speed Rox Technology Core: strength and structure // MOD: suspension // Carbon Web: increased edge hold // Speed Rocker: effortless initiation and accuracy
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
