Silence all your critics with the 2008 K2 Silencer Ski. This all-mountain park ski blends ease and forgiveness with all-mountain performance. Similar to its cousin, the K2 Fugative, the Silencer is designed for the aspiring twin-tip skier with a slightly narrower footprint and lightweight cap construction, for the ultimate in agile maneuverability. Forgiving yet lively, the K2 Silencer is your ticket to sweet all-mountain twin domination.

  • TORSION BOX CONTROL:The Torsion Box Construction is the foundation for the widest range of skis designed by K2. The Silencer Skis share the common traits of ease, forgiveness, responsiveness, and energy that can be found in all Torsion Box skis.
  • TRIAXIAL BRAIDING:This unique method produces skis that have a great deal of torsional rigidity and strength, while maintaining all the lively characteristics of a wood core ski.
  • Twin Tip, Tip and Tail Rivets

I used the silencer 07' on 179's and i'm 150lbs 6'0. I've been riding em' this season. The more you use em' the more they get Flexy. Butters, popping ollies becomes easy to do. Very nice skis for intermediate riders that discovers snowpark style, works great on rails, good landings on big air, easy to rotate and grabs. Bindings mounted at -1cm from true center, didn't lose much of racing/downhill/carve performance. Awsome skis on whatever you want to do on mountain! From nose presses to powder, great beginner's skis. Try to save on falling from big airs or whatever, top scratches easily. Overall, good price/quality. go switch!

These skis are ok for the first step to become a competitive skier. The silencers are ok on ice but this tends to put gashes into the sides of your skis when you try to carve. They are very flexable after the first couple of runs. So if you make a mistake they have no problem just hoping over the mougle.

Comments about K2 Silencer Skis 2008:

The k2 silencer is an awesome ski! They are great for the entire mountain and handle very well. They are super light and are very agile. If you're going to ski a little powder, anything under 8 inches is ideal for these skis. park is great. Nice and buttery landings. If you are looking for something stiffer, go with the public enemies. these are good fairweather skis

Comments about K2 Silencer Skis 2008:

i've had these skis for about 3 months and i havent had any problems with them. they started out pretty stiff but after a few weeks they got more flexible and they keep getting even more flexy. their great for rails and jumps. pretty soft on jumps and pretty light. they get beat up pretty easily so be ready for a knick out of them every time you fall. their light enought to throw big spins and filps. butters are pretty easy on these skis after a little bit of breaking in. great ski.

These skis were great write off the bat. They didn't take much getting used to, and only got better after each run. They are great for just about everything, but easy scatching is a significant concern.
