Product Info

The K2 Remedy 92 Skis are a new model for 2015, sized and shaped for the lady who truly splits her time equally between hard and soft snow. The All Terrain Rocker floats easily in powder yet isn't too wide for snappy edge-to-edge linked turns on groomers. All of this comes in one sweet package that includes a bomber BioFlex 3 core, vertical ABSorb Sidewalls for dampness on hard surfaces, and K2's Baseline 2.0 Freeride build that optimizes maneuverability.

Product Details

Rocker Type

All-Terrain RockerDesigned for all ability levels, All-Terrain Rocker adds versatility and ease in all snow conditions. This profile features an elevated tip and tail for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.

Flex

Medium Flex

Shape

Freeride Baseline 2.0Tapered Powder Tips with a blunt end maximize float but track well in firm untracked. Wide waist with low to medium camber preserves the surfy feel you want in pow and the responsive edge-to-edge performance you need on the groomed. The tail is blunt and tapered to maximize release and give a looser feel.

Core

BioFlex 3 CoreA combination of 80% dense Aspen core underfoot is fused with 20% lightweight Paulownia at the tip and tail to reduce swing weight with blended Bamboo throughout for strength and durability.

Laminates

Triaxial BraidTriaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to enhance torsional rigidity and add control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength while maintaining the lively flex patterns inherent in wood.

Sidewalls

ABSorb SidewallThis construction sandwiches a urethane layer in between ABS for shock ABSorption lessening the impact of harsh landings. Urethane is used underfoot to maximize the dampening, but ABS is used toward the tip and tail to maximize performance and edge control.

Base

Swap BaseK2 maximizes base material usage by alternating the contrasting die cut pieces - your base may be the reverse of what you see pictured.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
