At long last there's a remedy for women who want one ski to rule them all. The K2 Remedy 102 has a bi-directional shape combined with a hearty waist width that is shaped specifically for women. This all mountain ski offers a playful flex for slashing through the fluff while maintaining a stable cambered platform for the groomed, and lets you ski switch when you want to as well. The K2 Remedy 102 is the solution for women who want to roam everything on the mountain without having to switch skis between runs.
Rocker Type
All-Terrain Rocker - Designed for all ability levels, All-Terrain Rocker adds versatility and ease in all snow conditions. This profile features an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.

Sidecut
Bi-Directional Sidecut - The tip is only slightly wider than the tail. This allows the ski to perform exceptionally well while skiing forward while the taper enables the skier to enjoy stable and consistent switch riding.

Shape
Powder Tip - Designed to be more predictable in soft snow conditions, these tips are designed to strike the perfect balance of maximizing float while reducing tip deflection. These tips are designed with a gentle arc and transition into the sidecut of the ski.

Core
BioFlex 3 - 80% Aspen and 20% Paulownia for increased performance, strength, and durability

Laminates
Triaxial Braid - Triaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to enhance torsional rigidity and add control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength while maintaining the lively flex patterns inherent in wood.

Sidewalls
TwinTech Sidewall - Twin Tip specific construction increases the durability of K2 sidewall skis. Traditional sidewall construction produces a 90 degree angle where the top material and sidewall meet. The TwinTech construction rolls the top material into the sidewall, reducing the topsheet angle and making the ski less prone to damage from your edges.

Base
Swap Base - Ski bases are made with inverse colors so that less material is wasted.

Additional Features
K2 Tip Grommets/Skin Clip - The new freeride tip grommet is a low profile, clean and simple design that no longer requires a plug. The durable rubber coating disguises a slit designed to accommodate the Z clip for skin attachments, or to build a rescue sled.

Z-Clip skin compatible
Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as will as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
  • Turning Radius: Short
    Short
< 16 m radius is best for carving.
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Partial Twin Tip
    Partial Twin Tip
Partial twin tip skis have a tail that is turned up, but not as much as the tip. This gives you the ability to ski backwards and back out of tight spaces, but these skis are mainly designed to ski forward.
