Park/pipe sovereignty + all-mountain domination = the 2008 K2 Public Enemy Ski. Designed and tested as the ideal park ski with all-mountain versatility, this twin-tipped titan is ready to rip any terrain. The K2 PE uses an 85mm waist width with a stiffer flex Torsion Box construction to withstand the harshest landings and bolster your control when you’re ripping around the whole mountain. The hybrid ABS/Urethane Sidewalls underfoot are designed to lessen harmful impact to your body, giving the 2008 K2 Public Enemy more shock absorption than past years’ models. This Factory Series ski challenges the authority of every other so-called high-end versatile ski on the market, making it easy to be loyal to K2 quality and make yourself Public Enemy number one.

  • TRIAXIAL BRAIDING:This unique method produces skis that have a great deal of torsional rigidity and strength, while maintaining all the lively characteristics of a wood core ski.
  • TORSION BOX CONTROL:The Torsion Box Construction is the foundation for the widest range of skis designed by K2. The Public Enemy Skis share the common traits of ease, forgiveness, responsiveness, and energy that can be found in all Torsion Box skis.
  • ABS/Urethane Hybrid Sidewall
  • Tip and Tail Rivets, 3.5-mm Steel Edges

I rented these skis in a 164 length about two weeks ago at Breckenridge in about 8" of new powder. (I am 5'9" and 155lbs) I was having trouble turning my 170cm volkl AC30s in the woods with all the pow so the ski guy recommended them. THANK YOU SKI GUY! These are great skis, and no matter what I was doing they worked magnificently! They felt superlight and "snappy", which made moguls a relative pleasure. They had great float, and didn't feel chattery even when I was straightlining the chopped-to-hell horseshoe bowl with them. They were able to stay on top of the pow and thus made it a breeze to make tight turns in the dense woods. They were just a blast to ski! I got air off of everything and they made me feel like I had a ton of energy and shot roostertails about six feet in the air when i was really blasting so my friends wouldn't be drafting me, either. The only bad thing I can say about them is that the edges of the topsheet looked like they were the victim of a shark attack. Other than that, these are maybe the best do-it-all "one ski quiver" that I've ever skied. They'll let you do park & pipe, they love the pow, and they're so light I felt like a freakin' real athlete again. Thanks, K2 I'll be buying a pair soon, as they are really cheap too! BUY THESE SKIS! You won't regret it ever!

I skied these in Val d'Isere recently. Conditions weren't that great, so there was no powder to really get into. Thus, my review is slanted a bit. However, I can tell you that they're a stiff ski. I got a lot of chatter on groomers and other terrain. I'm not sure if this will be useful to you. I generally ski short, twin-tips. I'm 5 11, 145, and ski 160's. I liked them, but the chatter and stiffness was a definite negative.
Have fun out there!

Park jumps and small backcountry jibs are amazing with this ski, OK flex and float like nothing else. I used to ski in the backseat to get my tips up but these skis floated so well that I didn't feel like I needed to or wanted to

Comments about K2 PE (Public Enemy) Skis 2008:

I've skied these out east and at Mary Jane out west.....while they are not the best on ice (who cares), I was grinning ear to ear on an April powder day at MJ. They were great for floating atop the powder and are great even when things get tracked out a bit. I'm 6'3 190 lbs and rock the 179s. I would absolutely recommend these for an all mountain ski that is capable of going everywhere.

Don't spend too much time in the park, so I can't say anything about the weight inhibiting any of that stuff.......

BUY A PAIR!

The Skis are great! i know they are twin tips but last year after snapping a ski, i had to use them in a cupl of slalom races because my GS skis were far to long. They worked great!!! even for a race! but they are still better for all mountain i take them into the bowl mostly and they will float in the powder wonderfully
