Butter, press and devour. The K2 Press Skis are an essential piece in the park and pipe puzzle (PPP) that go easy on your pocketbook without hindering your progression. The Press steps up and stomps it with a solid Aspen wood core, Triaxial braided fiberglass wrap, and cap construction throughout, meaning it'll take a beating as you progress your skills.
Jib Rocker – Featuring an elevated tip and tail with zero camber underfoot, Jib Rocker offers the best blend of playfulness for butters and surface tricks combined with enhanced pop for unmatched ollie power. Simply put, Jib Rocker is designed for ollies, butters, and predictable pop.
Park Flex – With the help of its athletes K2 has developed a unique core profile that gives the tip and tail a flex pattern with more pop that holds deeper in presses and butters. This park specific core has more flex in the tip and tail but keeps the mid-body rock solid for control and confidence.
Medium Flex
Freestyle Baseline 2.0 – Tapered Powder Tips with a blunt end maximize float but track well in firm untracked. Wide waist with low to medium camber preserves the surfy feel you want in pow and the responsive edge-to-edge performance you need on the groomed. The tail is blunt and tapered to maximize release and give a looser feel.
Aspen Core
Triaxial Braid – Triaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to enhance torsional rigidity and add control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength while maintaining the lively flex patterns inherent in wood.
Cap Sidewalls – Durable and lightweight “cap” skis are built by a sophisticated molding process that envelopes the core and internal materials with the top layer of the ski.
Swap Base – K2 maximizes base material usage by alternating the contrasting die cut pieces - your base may be the reverse of what you see pictured.
Tip and Tail Hardware – Rivets for added durability
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
