K2 Press Skis + 10.0 Free Bindings 2012

K2 Press Skis + 10.0 Free Bindings 2012: The K2 Press Skis aren’t your ordinary price point, capped park ski. With a durable wood core, Jib Rocker™, and deeper sidecut, the Press can perform tricks only seen in gnarshmellow, carve well between features, and can easily handle all the abuse you throw at it. It is feather-light for reduced swing weight and the rocker/flat profile gives it the combination of buttery feel with the stability you desire, and deserve. No sacrificing here, the press is a killer park ski at an unbeatable price.
Shape
Jib Rocker™ has an elevated tip and tail with zero camber underfoot to offer the best blend of playfulness for butters and surface tricks combined with increased pop for unmatched ollie power.
Directional Taper Sidecut maximizes the performance of the ski in the forward direction. The ski makes a slightly different arc when skiing switch.
Construction
Cap Construction is durable, lightweight, and softer, built by a sophisticated molding process that envelopes the core and internal materials with the top layer of the ski.
Tip/Tail Hardware - rivets for durability
3.5mm steel edges are durable and far more resistant to cracking.
Bindings
The K2 Press Skis come with the Marker 10.0 Free Bindings. This is an ideal binding for someone who is newer to park skiing or is lighter weight.
Included Bindings
Bindings do not come mounted to the skis. Always have a certified technician mount and adjust the bindings.
Core and Flex Pattern
Aspen core is solid and dense, known for its inherent strength and durability.
Triaxial Braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around the wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control. This makes the ski incredibly energetic and responsive.
Park Flex Pattern is softer in the tip and tail with some rigidity underfoot for ollies.

Comments about K2 Press Skis + 10.0 Free Bindings 2012:

Great price point ski. I am a shorter guy, so I love that it comes in a 149 cm length. Looks great, great in the park, although it can be a little sketchy turning at high speed on groomers (gets lots of chatter). Lots of fun, tons of pop and looks great, even glows in the dark!

Chatters at high speed groomed runs, Good edge on cruising the piste. Not bad at powder compared to old K2 Silencer ski. Easily scratched under the ski.

these skis are great for jibbing and make it really easy to butter on to rails, very soft for jumps though so make sure they are sized right

They are super flexible and easy to spin, the only downside I found with these things is that they don't absorb wax well? It kinda sucks but it's a small detail
