K2 Luv Bug Skis - Youth - Girl's 2013: The K2 Luv Bug Skis will have kids falling in love with skiing from their first time on the slopes. Catch-Free Rocker™ will make learning fun and easy as they beat you down the bunny slope.
Catch-Free Rocker™ Designed to aid developing skiers. This elevated tip and tail assures effortless initiation at slow speeds, stability throughout the turn, and a predictable release from the turn for added confidence, control, and added ease.
Directional Taper A moderately wider tip than tail maximizes the ski’s performance in the forward direction. This means the ski makes a slightly different arc when skiing switch.
Cap Construction A durable, lightweight, and softer construction.
Torsion Box Provides K2 ski’s with ease, forgiveness, responsiveness, and energy.
Core is made from PU (Polyurethane) and Composite.
The Noodle Ski System A totally unique technology for the Groms series. The disadvantage in most junior skis is the stiffness of the overall ski due to the minimum thickness required to retain binding screws. With the Noodle Tech binding system, the plate is actually fused to the ski, requiring no screws, so the thinner core provides a smooth-flexing ski. That means better comfort and control for a junior skier and, ultimately, more fun.
BINDING NOT INCLUDED.
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.

Comments about K2 Luv Bug Skis - Girl's 2014:
Our 2 year old girl really loved these on her first year on the slopes. She turned 3 at the very end of the season. They turn and carve effortlessly. The tip and tail rise and nice width keeps the surprises to a minimum. We ski in the Midwest every weekend on man made but on our trips out west she handled pow on the edges of her catwalks and bunny groomers fine and schralped even really wet snow at Revelstoke just great. Looking forward to next year when she should really be able to get the full good out of these skis. Check out the video for carve demo by Sage.
