With a 78mm waist width, the K2 Lotta Luv Ski is exceptionally versatile in soft and hard snow. The K2/M1 binding system increases the performance of your K2 Lotta Love Ski and is sure to turn any skeptic of integrated systems into a believer. Lotta Love, like all the T9 series, is designed specifically for a woman. The K2 Lotta Luv Ski is built to center you for optimal control by putting you a little bit further up on the ski. And the women’s specific Mod Monic is 10 grams lighter than the men’s, providing the perfect dampening effect to smooth out your ride. K2’s blend of women's specific design and the metal laminate tech guarantee a powerful ski that performs in all conditions. Ride it once and fall in Luv with the K2 Lotta Luv S

  • K2/M1 binding system:Proven high performance system developed with Marker to increase performance. 30% wider than traditional binding systems, it allows better edging and easier turning and the floating toe and fixed heel decrease reaction time. The graphically integrated design looks sleeker than any other binding system.
  • Mod Tech:K2’s secondary elastometric is thickest at the center to insulate skiers from vibrations and thinned out towards the tip and tail to reduce weight and increase maneuverability.
  • Women’s specific Mod Monic:By embedding the solid 15 gram zinc mass into the T:NINE series, test teams found skis had a smoother ride because vibrations were lessened.
  • Titan Metal Laminate Cap:For a damp and powerful ride, two sheets of lightweight titanium alloy run the length of the ski, offering K2’s most complex and highest performing constructions. The titan metal laminate cap consists of alternating fiberglass and titanium above and below the wood core. BioFlex Core: Spruce and Fir Cores fused into one ski. You get the stability of Fir underfoot and the lightweight spring of spruce at the tip and tail for easier turning and lightweight stability.
  • Single Ski Weight:149 (3.56lbs/1615g), 156 (3.8lbs/1722.5g), 163 (3.74lbs/1697.5g), 170 (4.05lbs/1838.5g)

Comments about K2 Lotta Luv Skis + Marker M1 11.0 TC Bindings - Women's 2009:

The Lotta Luv’s were made to take off road!! They can handle the chopped up crud better than anything I've skied before. I just demo'd them for a second time last week. It was two days after a big storm and everything was tracked out, but they didn't flinch.

I was also surprised at how well these skis initiated the turn and held their grip on the groomers. The Lotta Luv’s are an all around fun ski. The only downside is they have a little chatter at high speeds on the groomers. If you are looking to rip up the groomers, get the Burning Luv’s. I previously owned the 07 One Luv’s and they are great for Intermediate level skiers with a little more forgiveness than the Lotta Luv’s. However, for the Advanced level skier, the Lotta Luv’s have much better control and float.

I also tested the Rossignol Vodoo SC80’s but I found that the K2 Lotta Luv’s had much better grip. I had a tendency to sit back and slide around on the Vodoo’s but I held an edge on the K2’s and felt much more confident on those. The K2 T-nine skis do an excellent job of keeping you up in the driver’s seat.

I just ordered my Lotta Luv’s from Evo this morning and I can’t wait to get back out there on these skis!

Comments about K2 Lotta Luv Skis + Marker M1 11.0 TC Bindings - Women's 2009:

I've used these skis at our local ski hill as well as in Utah and Arizona so far this season and I am not disappointed. I skied on some demos in Whistler last year and that convinced me to buy a pair.

They handle superbly on groomers with tight grip and very little chatter. I've pushed them to my limits with speed and they've met my expectations and then some. I went off piste in Utah and found that they float nicely in the powder. Our local hill is notorious for icy conditions and I've had no problem there.

I don't do moguls (bad knees!) so I can't give a recommendation there. But, I can imagine they would handle nicely.

They're heavy with the bindings. But the performance overcomes the effort needed to carry them to the hill.

Overall, no complaints. These are a pair of skis I will eventually wear out.

If you're not the type to have a "quiver" of skis for all conditions, these will pretty much take you where you want to go.

Comments about K2 Lotta Luv Skis + Marker M1 11.0 TC Bindings - Women's 2009:

Great all around ski. I'm tall 5'10 and heavier and they can handle aggressive skiing, no chatering like other skis I've tried. Very happy that this line goes up to 172, hard length to find in women's. They do well in the moguls and the powder. With the lack of snow and warmth this winter I also found they do great in icy conditions as long as you let the ski do the work and don't over-carve. Very happy with my skis!

      Comments about K2 Lotta Luv Skis + Marker M1 11.0 TC Bindings - Women's 2009:

So far I've only taken these on mid-Atlantic crud, so I can't comment on how well they do in powder - I wish. But these have handled great on the sheets of ice and piles of slush in PA/WV! Be prepared for how heavy these skis are, though. The integrated bindings are what make them weigh so much, so if you care about that, you could get the flat skis and lighter bindings.

Brought these from EVO for my wife (52) last year after she demo'd them in Salt Lake Powder. These were her clear favorites - they did great in powder. Used them this year on Killington VT Ice. Always in control - outer limits and superstar were no problem. I can't keep up!
