K2 Kung Fujas Skis 2010: Pep Fujas charges. He wanted a ski to charge every type of terrain so he worked with K2 to develop a ski that was wide enough to float and endure lines in the backcountry, yet nimble and poppy enough to shred the park. He added a new 5/30 mini-rocker to the tip and tail to enhance its performance in soft snow, and bi-directional taper for better switch carving. The result is the the only ski that is truly a quiver of one. Believe in the teachings of the Kung Fujas.

  • Core and Flex Pattern:Fir core is naturally strong and durable, producing a smooth flex allowing the ski to achieve full contact with the snow throughout a turn. Soft tips and tails yet solid enough to make aggressive turns and hold an edge.
  • Construction:Triaxial Braiding increases torsional rigidity and strength
  • Shape:Bi-Directional Taper: lets the ski perform exceptionally going forward without hindering switch potential. Tip/Tail 5/30 Rocker. Tips are raised 5mm off the snow and begin their rise 30 cm from the ends of the ski. No big deal – it’s just geometry.
  • Binding Compatibility:Requires a brake width of at least 90mm

Comments about K2 Kung Fujas Skis 2010:

I ski about 50% all mtn & 50% park on the east coast. The fujas pretty much rip on groomers and hold their own in the bumps despite the 95 mm waist. The tip and tail rocker makes a suprisingly big difference in the powder. It's not my favorite park ski because they're a little heavy and feel damp, but I still find they have more pop then the old public enemies.

Comments about K2 Kung Fujas Skis 2010:

This ski is one sweet looking ski.
Nice and smooth, a little edgey, wouldn't buy as an all-rounder.
Would be good for powder just didnt feel very nice on the groomers.

maybe the extreme would suit groomer/pow better.
would love to try again in japan or similar.

Comments about K2 Kung Fujas Skis 2010:

I use the skis mainly for park and a little powder. I found them to be very responsive and flexible. The rocker is very subtle, but not so small that it goes unnoticed. They are perfect for laps in the park, carving groomers or floating in powder. Paired with the Marker Schizo bindings, these make a great one ski quiver.

Comments about K2 Kung Fujas Skis 2010:

I wear most skis out pretty fast, doing rails, jumps, and crashing all the time :). But these lasted me a full season with only a few scratches on the side where scratched tore the paint off. These float great on pow and carve well on groomers. The only thing is that these skis are pretty heavy.

Comments about K2 Kung Fujas Skis 2010:

Used this ski in all conditions. Today I was in light powder and it performed great. For an all mountain ski it ripped and was very stable at speed even in the chop. It carves great on the groomers too. Ice is about the only problem. Oh yeah it is super fun, poppy, lively, whatever they say they are, they are. Ride 'em and believe it.

Comments about K2 Kung Fujas Skis 2010:

Super good ski for everything. I can honestly say it is the best all purpose ski ive ever skiied. Its really stable at speed with verrry minimum chatter due to the rocker. super good switch and can make long and short radius turns. not as good as bacons in pow but who could expect them to be? they hold their own i can tell you that. Decent in the park but a little heavy. its not prohibitive but noticeable. Overall it kills everything.

Comments about K2 Kung Fujas Skis 2010:

I bought these skis before the holiday and took them straight to Verbier, Switzerland for three weeks of riding where we experienced every kind of snow condition imaginable. I've never skied such a good all around ski - the width and rocker make it a money ski in the deep stuff, as well as alowing it to punch through any chop coming you way. This ski holds it's edge in the groomers and even ice. This is the best all around ski I've ever ridden and recomend it to anyone and everyone.
