K2 Juvy Skis - Youth 2009 – A park inspired twin tip perfect for junior jibbers. K2’s Juvy is the ski that keeps up with your grom’s increasingly big park style. K2 didn’t just shrink down an adult design; the Juvy twin tip skis are built specifically to the needs of smaller framed park and pipe lovers. With a specific flex and weight, junior specific dimensions and size, the K2 Juvy Skis are the perfect tools to keep your groms excited about the sport of skiing.

  • Triaxial Braided:This unique method produces skis that have a great deal of torsional rigidity and strength, while maintaining all the lively characteristics of a wood core ski.
  • Standard Taper:Moderately wider tip than tail maximizes directional performance and helps skis perform optimally in the forward direction.
  • Torsion Box Construction:The Torsion Box Construction is the foundation for the widest range of skis designed by K2. The Juvy Skis share the common traits of ease, forgiveness, responsiveness, and energy that can be found in all Torsion Box skis.

Comments about K2 Juvy Skis - Youth 2009:

i bought these skis for the 08-09 ski season. i mostly just stay in the terrain parks but they are pretty versatile to go through the whole mountain. They are better for more pack powder and icy conditions. Some pros are they have really good flex and are lighter than regular skis. A con is that they scratch sort of easy. But over all they are a solid pair of skis.

Comments about K2 Juvy Skis - Youth 2009:

The product that I will be reviewing is the K2 Juvy Twin Tip Skis. These skis are great for going all around the mountain and will perform well anywhere you go. I do own these skis and have used them four times with complete satisfaction.

I have skied jumps, packed powder, ice, and a bit of shallow powder with these skis and have enjoyed it on all terrain. Some pros about the skis are that they can carve very well, they are lightweight, and they give you a very smooth ride on flat terrain and jumps. Since the skis carve well, it allows you to be going pretty fast while still being able to control your speed. Anytime you go off a jump with the K2 Juvy's, your landing will be smooth, which helps me keep skiing until the lifts close.

The only con that these awesome skis have is that they are a little bit too skinny. This means that they will not perform as good as other skis in powder. Don't get me wrong, these skis are still great in powder but maybe not as good as a fatter ski.

In conclusion, these skis are probably the best skis I have ever owned. They perform well anywhere you go, whether it's from park to powder or ice to packed powder. I would recommend these skis to anyone who likes to go all over the mountain.
