Product Info

K2 Indy Skis - Youth - Boy's 2013: Your little one will feel right at home on the K2 Indy Skis. They make learning to ski a breeze due to the Catch-Free Rocker™ and easy turn initiation. Kids will appreciate K2 s Noodle technology that allows the ski to flex proportionally to a child’s weight.

Product Details

Shape

Catch-Free Rocker™Designed to aid developing skiers. This elevated tip and tail assures effortless initiation at slow speeds, stability throughout the turn, and a predictable release from the turn for added confidence, control, and added ease.

Directional TaperA moderately wider tip than tail maximizes the ski’s performance in the forward direction. This means the ski makes a slightly different arc when skiing switch.

Construction

Made from PU (Polyurethane) and Composite

Cap ConstructionA durable, lightweight, and softer construction.

Torsion BoxProvides K2 ski’s with ease, forgiveness, responsiveness, and energy.

Additional Features

The Noodle Ski SystemA totally unique technology for the Groms series. The disadvantage in most junior skis is the stiffness of the overall ski due to the minimum thickness required to retain binding screws. With the Noodle Tech binding system, the plate is actually fused to the ski, requiring no screws, so the thinner core provides a smooth-flexing ski. That means better comfort and control for a junior skier and, ultimately, more fun.

Binding Compatibility

BINDING NOT INCLUDED.

We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.

    Comments about K2 Indy Skis - Boy's 2014:

These have been great skis for our son. The bottom line is that he loves to ski, is confident on them, and most importantly does not complain at all while skiing. Not sure if it is all due to the skis but I can't complain either. He even showed Grandpa some new tree runs that we did not even know about!

My tips were busted after less than 15 uses. These are high maintenance and low quality. I would not reccomend these skis.

      Comments about K2 Indy Skis - Boy's 2014:

Bought these for junior. He loves the design and logos, but for me it was a good quality ski and a really good price. The only knock on them is that they seem to scratch easily but me and the boy are pretty rough on equipment. Overall very solid.

          Comments about K2 Indy Skis - Boy's 2014:

grabbed these for my beginning skier kids, they love the graphics and having skis like the big kids. i love the slight rocker camber as they learn to make turns it eases initiation and makes for less falling. cant beat the evo price on these either a great investment ski as we are looking forward to many snow days on these boards. a K2 classic - this line may become a staple for my kids as they progress.

I am a father, who had his son ski on these skis as he was learning. over all, very nice ski, very good for a begginer learning to ski. hoping to get at least three years out of them, but unfortunately my son broke them on his second year :(
