Not content being a mere pow tool, the HellBent gives you generous ability to carve your way down to the bottom of back to the lift. Shatter perceptions of what can be done outside the park. The mountain is now your playground: unleash!

  • Approval from the experts! Try getting bigtimers like Andy Mahre and Satan to ever take the HellBents off their feet.
  • Core and Flex Pattern:Fir core with Triaxial Braiding increases torsional rigidity and strength. Medium flex underfoot and medium-soft in the tips.
  • Construction:Vertical ABS Sidewall: impact toughness protects the core, aids in the direct transmission of power. 3.5mm edge is far more resistant to cracking and grinding for a more durable, longer lasting ski.

Comments about K2 Hell Bent Skis 2010:

I demoed a pair in hood this summer, so no pow but they suprised me. They carved way better than I expected (better that my Scratches). They were incredibly fun in the park to for being so huge. I could jib and hit jumps with no problems. I ended up getting a pair, and hope they hold up in the year.

Comments about K2 Hell Bent Skis 2010:

I'm an ex 100+ ski days a year junkie, 39 years old and hadn't skied in 5 years. That alone is sick, but I rented these last week in St. Anton Austria where we had a meter (3.5 feet) of new snow. I was fighting through some of this stuff with these slalom carving skis and being use to my old 215 cm Kastle Super G's it was doable with the slaloms but hard work. Then I switched to the Hell Bent, all I can say is Hell Yeah! It took one run to get over the shock of these things but I basically made two hard packed turns then dropped over the edge OB into waste deep windpack then into a bit heavier waste deep snow. Honestly, I might as well have been carving down a pefectly flat groomed slope, no problem keeping balance, no struggle unweighting out of the heavy stuff, plain and simple, awesome. I've never had so much fun on a pair of skis in snow over a meter deep. Left me wondering what I was doing all those years before these came along. Guess sometimes you just have to take a few years off then come back to find technology has caught up with you. I was coming down the steepest of runs with full confidence doing high speed GS or SL turns with the exception that this was more than 3.5 feet of new snow....Where do I sign?

Comments about K2 Hell Bent Skis 2010:

These skis are GREAT. Looks like a lot of ski to be using on hard snow conditions, but it is great. They carve exceptionaly well! And once you hit the powder they SHRED. The rocker is great, keeps the skis on top of the snow. When your huckin a big cliff, you'll most likly stomp it. They are very stable. I love the skis.

Comments about K2 Hell Bent Skis 2010:

This ski destroys. No regrets in getting then whatsoever. I ride whistler and they're pretty much perfect for any condition. Although they're best in chopped pow and deep they can carve and rip groomers great. They're a bit heavy at first if you're coming off a light park ski like myself, but you adjust to them really quick. If you're doing lots of rotations this might not be the best ski just because of the weight, but they stomp 180s like no other. I recommend a center mount if you're getting 189s, its amazing.

Comments about K2 Hell Bent Skis 2010:

This is my third pair of hell bents and I plan on getting another pair next season! I love this ski! It really doesnt get any better as far as a powder jib ski goes. I have mounted all three pairs at "core" center and couldnt be happier with how they ride. Plus as a bonus you get amazing art on the top sheets and bases! The best days I have ever had on skis have been on the hell bent! Truth be told.

Comments about K2 Hell Bent Skis 2010:

The first day I rode my Hellbents, I found them to be a little heavy waiting for the chair (I was coming off a light park ski). My first run, was odd, because they floated so well. The ski feels very light when you're actually skiing it. The biggest cliff I dropped on these was only 20 feet. They landed SUPER solid, it felt like dropping five feet. This ski was amazing. It was very good on the way back to the chair, but it sucks in crud. Crud is the only weakness of this ski. I have let a few people take some runs on them and they were stoked, they never wanted to give them back. They ride switch in pow just as good as they do forwards. I found myself throwing 180s off of every little bump and drop. I HIGHLY recommend this ski.

Comments about K2 Hell Bent Skis 2010:

Im new to touring but deceided to use the Hellbents for skinning this year. The rocker didn't effect the hold on the way up at all. I bought the 189's and had a blast. Mounted them +6 and they still floated great. Very cool. Chattered some at high speeds when the snow was hard, but all in all, pretty dope. Made me look like I've been skiing for years. Even hit the toll Bridge in the park on the way back down. Built tons of confidence.

The ski is sick. Designed and tested by two of the most influential skiers of our time Andy Mahre and Pep Fujas. There is no other ski! This ski will change the way you look at the mountain. New lines, new transitions, new possibilities.

Best for surfin' those deep days, but given our current snow situation I've been pleased with their hard pack performance. For a rockered powder ski they seriously grip and rip on groomers. Try to keep your weight forward though, they can wash out on ya if you're riding back seat too much. Ive got them mounted at +5cm. Not ideal for that chunky crud so steer clear. Overall radness personified!

The K2 Hellbent will change your life. I swear.
I ride a 169cm and have mine mounted with the boot center 1mm from true center. I remounted mine from the traditional mounting position because the tail is slightly softer than the tip and mounting them too far back made me lose out on the rocker in the tail. I use the Hellbent in all conditions but super icy ones. During tree runs they are quick and nimble and carry so much pop through rollers and small hips.

Don't let the graphics scare you. You can't help but smile when you're skiing on the Hellbents :)
