The twin tip K2 Fujative Ski was designed with the pipe and park in mind by Pep Fujas. It is kept super stiff underfoot with the Triaxial braided core to retain its ability to stomp landings and not wash out in transitions. A radical and state of the art flex pattern allows the rider to perform tip presses and ollie's with ease. The K2 Fujative ski escapes traditional ski design towards both the tip and tail, where a distinctive wood core allows it to be flexed and pressed in ways most other skis cannot compete with.
Other Features
Triaxial Braided- This patented and proprietary technology wraps an interlocking fiberglass weave around the skis wood core at 38 degrees to provide a strong, lightweight ski with optimum torsional stiffness.
Torsion Box Sidewall- Torsion Box construction is K2's most widely used, yet simplest lay-up because of its versatility and its ability to create so many different kinds of skis depending on the amount of flex and torsion designed into the construction. Torsion box’s construction tends to have lively and energetic characteristics that provide a high degree of rebound and performance.
Unique Flex Pattern, Vertical Cap, New Tip and Tail Rivets
Performance Park, Pipe and Jib

Pep here, talking about my ski, and how you can have just as much fun as I do when i ride. When I first conceptualized this ski, I put the ski designers to the test to produce exactly what I foresaw at an inexpensive cost that wouldn't compromise it's performance. After much distress and late nights they were able to come through with the perfect product. The idea is a ski that is playfull for buttering and pressing but can still hold it's own on massive kickers. After riding them for three seasons I've only made one change and that was to stiffen the tail to prevent washing out in the pipe, but to maintain the pop of the original ski. After that first year, K2 askes me, so what kind of changes do you want made to the ski this year and each year I haven't come up with anything. They carve farely well forward and absolutely amazing backward. What more can I say? I love em'!

I go skiing over 30 times in a year and dont get me wrong. these are great skis and i love the design, but they are heavy. I rode on my friends Rossignol Scratch FS skis and they were the lightest park and pipe skiis ive ridden. The fugitives just were too heavy and i couldnt ever get my full rotations in

Comments about K2 Fujative Skis 2007:

I just simply LOVE these skis. They are amazing. The only cons I found so far are that they scratch VERY easily (especially the top) and that they are a bit heavy comparing to my other Armada ARV Skis, which are lighter and a bit easier to manipulate with. But if you are a strong skier and you LOVE to play in the snow, these skis are made for you. I ride they everywhere- pipe, park, downhill, powder, moguls, there is nothing they cannot do! :P Pep Fujas, thanks for making skis like these. :)

I live in wisconsin where we do not get much powder. these skis are great in the park and even hold there own on the rest of the mountain. The only problem i have with these skis is that they scratch very easily. after my fist time out with them they were already getting major scratches. these have very good pop and could suit all ability levels well.

Comments about K2 Fujative Skis 2007:

I just purchased the Fuj's and they're the best all-around ski I've used to date. The maneuverability is exceptional be it the deep pow, big moguls or in the trees and they won't let you down on those pesky, icy skied out (or should I say boarded-out) areas. Definately a great bang-for-your-buck product if you don't want to spend ridiculous amounts of money on gear.
