K2 Extreme Skis 2010: The K2 Extreme skis have the confidence and stability to rip any terrain and the torsional strength and durability to handle the toughest of landings and the most punishing abuse in the park. With the ABSorb Hybrid Sidewall, impact from harsh landings will feel like little tickles. Emulate PK Hunder’s double cork 1080 or just bust out some of the ol’ moves on the topsheet. Either way, we’ll be proud. Let’s keep it Extreme, eh?

  • The most badass display of aerial trickery ever placed on a topsheet
  • Core and Flex Pattern:Fir core is naturally strong and durable, producing a smooth flex allowing the ski to achieve full contact with the snow throughout a turn
  • Construction:ABSorb Hybrid Sidewall: horizontal construction sandwiches a urethane layer inbetween BAS for shock ABSorption. Triaxial Braiding increases torsional rigidity and strength
  • Shape:Standard taper
  • Binding Compatibility:Requires brake width of at least 80mm

Probably the most versatile ski I have ever owned. Eastern skier, no man-made snow , trees, chutes, mogul, glades, stream beds- wind blown slab, crud, moderate powder (haven't had any deep stuff yet) the ski rocks on it all. Very quick edge to edge but also holds a nice GS turn. I use the all-mountain mount--55+ and too old for the park! A bit more versatile than the Line Blend or the Dynastar 8000 for me. Top edge does chip, but I try not to ski on that too much!

they're good skis, they get the job done but they dont have any life and after a while they get very soft, also one of the problems i had was that when doing butters or landing with the skis close together i would catch one ski tip on the other ones rivets so if you found some way to get rid of the rivets or grind them down they would be great skis.

there a pretty good one quiver ski, wide enough to float in pow, pretty good skiing switch, iv skied on lots of rocks and theres only like two small shots on the bases. the only really bad part is the top sheet blows after like a couple of days there was already chipping. there pretty stiff aswell

Comments about K2 Extreme Skis 2010:

This is an amazing ski. I just bought mine at the beginning of this season and I couldn't be happier. I've gone about 15 times so far. This ski is very flexible and is very smooth. Great for park, wide enough for powder, and the ski is the exact same forward and back so riding backwards is just as easy as forwards. Great ski, i recommend it to people that spend time in the park, or for people that like to hit kickers on the side.

Comments about K2 Extreme Skis 2010:

I have the 09 version and as an east coast skier they are the perfect all mountain ski for me. This ski can do it all and although it might not be the best for deep powder it's great for the trees and moguls and a lot of fun. I am glad I got last years as they have the more classic graphics like the original extremes. This ski replaced the popular Public Enemy.

Comments about K2 Extreme Skis 2010:

I just took these up to the mountain for the first time today...great ski. I am a former collegiate level racer and these skis are carver friendly. I skid them like a GS ski and a Slalom ski I was able to get good solid turns. They don't seem to have a ton of pop but thats fine. They floated well in the powder and held a good edge on the harder snow.
