K2 Domain Skis 2012: Get ready to dominate any feature that lies in front of you with the symmetrical K2 Domain Skis. Jib Rocker™ gives you a stable landing platform underfoot with buttery tips and tails for extra techy jib-trickery. From switch lips to nb-2 on’s and super-feds - the K2 Domain Skis let you mash out your tail presses, banged-out manuals, and shuffles with enough style to scream SPONSOR ME.
Shape
Jib Rocker™ has an elevated tip and tail with zero camber underfoot to offer the best blend of playfulness for butters and surface tricks combined with increased pop for unmatched ollie power.
Symmetrical Taper Sidecut gives a ski with equal tip and tail width equivalent arc forward and switch. To maximize performance the mounting location is in the absolute core center.
Construction
TwinTech Construction increases the durability of the sidewalls. Unlike a traditional sidewall, this construction rolls the top material into the sidewall reducing the angle that is prone to abuse.
Tip/Tail Hardware - rivets for durability
3.5mm steel edges are durable and far more resistant to cracking.
Flex
Aspen core is solid and dense, known for its inherent strength and durability.
Triaxial Braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around the wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control. This makes the ski incredibly energetic and responsive.
Park Flex Pattern is softer in the tip and tail with some rigidity underfoot for ollies.
Dimensions
21m @ 179cm 115/90/115 (all sizes)

Comments about K2 Domain Skis 2012:

This has become my general go to ski. I will digress, i absolutely hated them the fist two days. I even considered returning them and getting something else. Thank the god of winter i didnt! They take some getting used to, but i love them. excellent light swing weight, but a bit on the heavy side if youre just carrying them. Lots of lift on these guys off jumps. havent gotten around to rails yet. I dont want to keep going on and on because youll stop reading. the only negatives are that the topsheet durability is pitiful and i slide out when i try carving a ton. maybe i just havent quite gotten used to them yet. Still, not enough for me to deduct a star.
