Product Info

K2 Bad Seed Skis - Youth - Boy's 2013: This all-mountain kids’ ski performs admirably through adverse conditions thanks to its 85mm waist and All-Terrain Rocker. The K2 Bad Seed Skis are great for the grom that spends time on-piste, in the park, or slashing powder in the trees.

Product Details

Shape

All-Terrain Rocker™Designed for all snow conditions, featuring an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance and camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.

Directional TaperA moderately wider tip than tail maximizes the ski’s performance in the forward direction. This means the ski makes a slightly different arc when skiing switch.

Construction

Aspen/Paulownia CoreAspen is known for its inherent strength and durability, while the Paulownia is eco-friendly and lightweight.

Cap ConstructionA durable, lightweight, and softer construction.

Triaxial BraidingConsists of braiding fiberglass around the wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control, making the ski incredibly energetic and responsive.

Additional Features

Swap BaseSki bases are made with inverse colors so that less material is wasted

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.

    Comments about K2 Bad Seed Skis - Youth - Boy's 2013:

Great all around ski for my 9 year old. He loves the twin tips for riding switch in the park and is able to carve easily on groomers. He is also able to grab quick turn through moguls, these are his first brand new pair of skis.

      Comments about K2 Bad Seed Skis - Youth - Boy's 2013:

I bought these for my 10 year-old daughter after a lot of comparative shopping and talking to ski shops. She is intermediate to advanced and loves her new boards. We live in Montana and mostly ski big sky. These skis keep her on top of loose snow, and really grip when she gets up on her edges. Only knock (and I keep this quite because she hasn't noticed) is they are kind of heavy for the size of the ski.

            Comments about K2 Bad Seed Skis - Youth - Boy's 2013:

These are great skis for an advanced, lightweight kid who skis all kinds of conditions and needs one ski to "do it all". They are fine on ice (have camber underfoot, unlike most other kids' fatties), great on groomers, and they really stand out in crud and powder. We bought them this year in size 129 to replace the 119s my son grew out of. We'll be buying bigger ones of the same as he grows. Highly recommend.
