- Core and Flex Pattern:Staying true to K2 men’s All-Mountain models, the Recon skis use fir and aspen due to their strength and durability. Metal laminate technology, two sheets of lightweight titanium alloy that run the length of the ski, is the highest performing and most complex construction available from K2, consisting of alternating layers of fiberglass and titanium above and below the wood core for accurate and unshakable performance, promising the expert all-mountain skier and solid ride they can truly enjoy anywhere they go.
- Construction:Like most skis in K2 men’s All-Mountain models, the Recon skis are made lightweight and durable thanks to cap construction, while the MOD Monic, a solid zinc mass embedded in the secondary core that dampens mass at a targeted location for a smoother and steadier ride, is specific for men to the amount of focused mass is specific to the rider.
