Shape
The K2 Apache Ranger Skis are made with a standard camber, the most versatile camber that makes it so you can go anywhere you want in any type of terrain or condition.
Construction
The K2 Apache Ranger skis are made with cap construction, a sophisticated molding process that surrounds the core and interior of the ski with the top layer, staying very durable and lightweight. These skis are also made with men’s specific MOD Monic, meaning that the amount of MOD Monic that’s made to focus mass dampening at a targeted location for less shakes and quakes is just right for you. MOD is a high performance suspension system that absorbs vibrations and impacts in any condition, making for a stronger edge hold and more power and control. It’s applied as a secondary core, meaning both cores can flex or move on top of each other without affecting the overall flex. Even better? In the K2 Apache Ranger Skis, the shape of the secondary core has been sculpted to distribute mass evenly for men specifically for the smoothest ride.
Flex
Staying true to the K2 men’s All-Mountain models, the Apache Ranger Skis are built with a fir and aspen core for their inherent strength, durability and energy, and triaxal braiding (developed by K2 way back in ’88) means that interlocking strands of fiberglass wrap the wood core producing plenty of torsional or twist rigidity and strength while still keeping the bendy nature of the wood core.
Binding Compatibility
The K2 Apache Ranger Skis are built for the K2/M2 bindings.
