- Titan Metal Laminate Cap:Metal construction creates a damp and powerful ride. Two sheets of lightweight titanium alloy run the length of the ski, offering K2’s most complex and highest performing constructions. The Titan metal laminate cap consists of alternating fiberglass and titanium above and below the wood core.
- Powder Tip:Inspired by the Coomba, the Outlaw now plays better with the pow.
- Men’s specific Mod Monic:By embedding the solid 25 gram zinc mass into the Men’s Apache series, test teams found skis had a smoother ride because vibrations were lessened.
- Mod Tech:K2 shaped the secondary elastometric core to distribute mass along the ski in a way that gives the smoothest ride. Thickest at the center to insulate skiers from vibrations and thinned out towards the tip and tail to reduce weight and increase maneuverability.
- Progressive Sidecut:16/14 sidecut combined with the new wider body allows for better float in soft snow
