The K2 Apache Crossfire Skis have justly been entitled the ultimate all mountain ski. Switching from a radial sidecut to a progressive sidecut, K2’s new design progressively increases the sidecut from tail to tip. With their new design, K2 Apache Crossfire’s have become more speedy in their turn initiation desired for rock solid snow performance at the tip, while being more forgiving , less aggressive underfoot through the tail. - MOD Monic:Module placed strategically in the primary area where vibrations associated with high performance skiing occur most. Working harmonically within the MOD structure, Monic dampens unwanted vibrations at their source, resulting in high performance liveliness and damping
- Triaxial braided:This patented and proprietary technology wraps an interlocking fiberglass weave around the skis wood core at 38 degrees to provide a strong, lightweight ski with optimum torsional stiffness. The end result is a ski with greater sensitivity and better turn response with less effort
