K2 AMP Force Skis 2011: The K2 AMP Force Ski features Catch Free Rocker Technology, which enables the ski to become more maneuverable in and out of the turn, but solid and powerful in the middle of the turn for added confidence and control. Geared towards newer skiers, the additional ease and forgiveness offered by this design makes learning to ski easier than ever. The K2 AMP Force Ski is built with a lightweight composite core that adds 3D shape while maintaining a forgiving flex profile.

Catch Free Rocker – Catch-Free Rocker is designed for developing skiers. This elevated tip and tail assures effortless initiation at slow speeds, stability throughout the turn, and ease of release for added confidence and control.

The K2 AMP Force Ski is built with a lightweight composite core that adds to the maneuverability of the ski with a forgiving flex profile focused on ease and fun

Best use: Groomed: 70%, Ungroomed: 30%
Mod Technology – Mod functions by absorbing vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge-hold and a higher degree of power and control. Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, allowing the overall ski flex to be unaffected
Binding Compatibility
Requires a binding brake between 75mm and 85mm

    I bought this skis because I was looking for something cheap and at the same time something that expect my expectations. This skis made all that. I was looking for a ski with rocker and camber. I was looking for something to carve. This pair of ski is awesome, I received last friday and I use it yesterday, monday. It was awesome to ride. I install the Tyrolia SX 10 bindings $99
