Icelantic Shaman Skis 2010: With a truly unique shape and design, the Icelantic Shaman ski balances the skier’s weight allowing a forward, powerful powder turn unlike anything you have ever believed possible. The Shaman is not only wise and intuitive, it also provides excellent maneuverability while its super fat tip rivals even the biggest powder skis in flotation and stability. And don’t be fooled by the wide girth: the Shaman rips the groomers with its aggressive sidecut and torsional rigidity. So go ahead, shed your inner demons and put the Shaman to the test.

  • Core and Flex Pattern:Poplar Wood core is lightweight, durable, and poppy, and Unilateral fiberglass balances ski flex.
  • Construction:Unilateral fiberglass balances ski flex, and ETLX 2200 Triaxle fiberglass provides phenomenal torsional rigidity. 2.2mm steel edges are thick and strong, and Durasurf 2001 P-TEX sidewalls are extremely durable and facilitate excellent energy transfer.
  • Shape:Designed as a powder-specific ski, it has a very tapered shape and the most sidecut out of the entire Icelantic series.
  • Graphics:Co-founder and friend of Icelantic, artist PARR creatively arranges elements in a way that appeals to the senses and emotions. You’ll get lost in a daydream staring at the beautiful graphics as you sit on the chairlift.
  • Binding Compatibility:Requires a brake width of at least 110mm

Comments about Icelantic Shaman Skis 2010:

The skis power through the crud and chopped pow. I found myself unconcerned with snow conditions on the Steeps and immediately began looking further downhill for the next turn. They perform well on the groomers but the tip is sort of odd feeling. Not the best on groomed but superior on the tracked, packed powder. Very stable ski.

Comments about Icelantic Shaman Skis 2010:

These Shamans are the funnest ski I have ever skied. I bought them for my powder ski but I like them so much they may become my everday ski. They perform incredibly well in powder and crud. I effortlessly float over everything. They even do well on the groomers. I LOVE these skis as do my two friends who talked me into getting them.

These skis make all types of skiing seem simple, you'll look great in all terrain, went back to my AC30's and found I had to work 10 times harder to ski the same terrain and looked worse while doing it.

Comments about Icelantic Shaman Skis 2010:

These skis are great in the powder. They have a tremendous amount of float and the little bit of camber seems to give great pop. I get more comments and looks on these planks in one lap on the lift then a whole season on my other skis. Overall: Good ski to add the quiver. Just make sure you don't dump your groomer skis just yet.
