Product Info

The Icelantic Pilgrim SKNY Skis are a carvin' tool for days when you want to be a carvin' fool. A 75 mm waist with ample sidecut makes them lightning quick edge to edge, and the full camber with flat tail locks in and finishes those turns no fuss, no muss. Combined with Icelantic's legendary attention to detail and awesome graphics, you'll take this ski to the bank and all over the corduroy on those days when it hasn't snowed in a while.

Comments about Icelantic Pilgrim SKNY Skis 2014:

This ski is miscorrectly described as an east coast ski.. probably a marketing gimick. With the identical sidecut as their fat sisters, they ski remarkably well on a variety of conditions. I've skied these three times now at Winter Park/Mary Jane in March with hammerhead telebindings and they are a strong quick ski for challenging conditions, east or west. It holds a solid edge on ice and carves well on hard pack. You have to apply yourself when on them - these ski will not auto turn. On bumps they show good control and quick response. On spring mush, they skied equally well.
Haven't tried powder yet and likely will use my fatter skies when it snows again anyway. Final takeaways - they are light and easy to move into position. The blunt tip is a bit of a downside for the hard steep-faced moguls but have only bit me once.

Comments about Icelantic Pilgrim SKNY Skis 2014:

Purchased these skis for days with my wife who has only skied 2 years. She likes groomers and goes a little slower than I do on my own.
My hell&backs are too much work at lower speed, on groomed runs. These fit the bill for me perfectly, the could be a little stiffer but are awesome carvers and do everything well.

Comments about Icelantic Pilgrim SKNY Skis 2014:

I originally purchased these ski's because I needed some carving ski's to get me through the lean winters out west. I couldn't pass up the sale price provided by Evo. When the ski's arrived, I was amazed by how light they were. The first time I took them on the hard pack I was absolutely blown away. The ski's perform like full blown race ski with a bit more forgiveness. With these ski's, I can finally keep up with my kids on the race team!
