With a 78 sidecut, the Fischer Koa 78 Skis are perfect for all mountain groomed skiing with occasional off piste runs.
Construction
Sidewall construction means supported edges for the highest stability, strength and durability, while Air Carbon Tech, ultra lightweight and extremely strong high-tech material from the aerospace industry, improves handling and performance.
Flex
A flexible but firm poplar core makes the Koa sturdy but forgiving when necessary

    It was a gift for my wife. About her : 10+ experience, prefers groomed trails, not a high speed. At the first day she tried it she changed her style dramatically. She said to go off piste is same easy as to stay on a trail. very light, responsive.

    Comments about Fischer Koa 78 Skis - Women's 2011:

    After not having purchased skis for MANY years, these ride much differently than my straight Volkl P90s. They turn easily and are amazing in powder, however do tend to chatter at speed on the groomers.
    I'm an East coast skier who's been dealing with lots of ice lately. These do not have the best grip, nor would I say that they blast through the crud. Maybe next year we'll get more snow, and these babies will treat me differently!
    For my next purchase, I would probably lean toward more of a carving ski.
