Devoted countless hours to "leg day" this season and still getting passed on the skin track? Invest in the Faction Agent 90W Skis and benefit from their shockingly nimble performance thanks to flyweight paulownia augmented with carbon fiber. A 92mm waist width means the Agent 90Ws are versatile enough to take on maiden snow in the backcountry while Faction's STP tech ensures you'll enjoy the torsional strength you crave for carving sweeping hardpack turns in-resort. Lightweight, durable, and featuring a flat tail for easy compatibility with your climbing skins, the Faction Agent 90W Skis are engineered for the woman who loves to earn her turns. *These are factory blem skis that may have slight cosmetic damage.*
Rocker / Camber – 5mm of rocker over a 150 mm length in the tip with 5 mm of camber for a bit of float, easy turn initiation and a springy, energized skiing experience.
Flex Rating 3 (1 Soft - 6 Stiff) – Medium flex for predictable handling.
Short Turning Radius – Quick and agile edge to edge at all speeds.
Paulownia Core – Paulownia is a very light hardwood that is stable and easy to machine. Cores made with this material are lighter than Balsa/Flax cores, but are more expensive and require a lamination layer such as carbon fiber to improve responsiveness.
STP Technology – STP Technology is a patent-pending process used to press a small wave into the length of the ski. This creates a "pre-stressed" core with increased torsional strength, letting Faction use less wood to create lighter, more forgiving skis with above-average edge-grip.
Bi-Axial Carbon Fiber – Carbon fiber is used on Faction's lightweight Escape series skis to reinforce the core and increase edge-hold, responsiveness, and rebound.
Bi-Axial/ Tri-axial Fiberglass – Fiberglass is used in two different formats to aid the compressional strength of the core and esnusre long-lasting pop.
Phenol Binding Plates – Phenol is a hard plastic material that secures the binding screws. The one-piece design fits most touring bindings with center screws.
Sandwich Construction – Used on most Faction skis. A traditional manufacturing method that provides strength, durability, good grip and edge hold. Rubber is used to dampen vibration and bond the base layers to the core.
Die-Cut PTEX 4000 – Used on most Faction skis. Sintered PTEX 4000 base material is more porous and holds wax better than PTEX 2000.
1.8 mm Edges – Used on 99% of Faction's skis, the 1.8 mm hardened steel edges are strong and dependable.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
