Dynastar Outland 80 Skis + NX 11 Fluid Bindings 2012: Perfectly endowed to help the intermediate and advanced skier tear up the entire mountain, the Dynastar Outland 80 Skis + NX 11 Fluid Bindings have All -Mountain Rocker technology for maneuverability in a variety of terrain and snow conditions. Traditional underfoot camber underfoot, plus moderate tip and tail rocker give you full-length edge engagement while on groomers and hardpack. At the same time, this rocker profile also gives you float and tracking when moving through softer snow and ungroomed territory. You’ll be able to grow as a skier and enjoy the entire mountain with these Dynastar skis.

All Mountain Rrocker has traditional underfoot camber underfoot combined with moderate tip and tail rocker to give you full-edge engagement while also providing effortless float and tracking.

The Look NX 11 Fluid Bindings isare a binding for sports and leisure skiers looking for comfort, performance, and simplicity. They are reliable, safe and light, ensuring that your bindings are well equipped to travel with from Kilimanjaro to your favorite local spot.
Included Bindings
Bindings do not come mounted to the skis. Always have a certified technician mount and adjust the bindings.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
    All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.

    Intermediate-Advanced
    The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.

    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as will as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.

    Partial twin tip skis have a tail that is turned up, but not as much as the tip. This gives you the ability to ski backwards and back out of tight spaces, but these skis are mainly designed to ski forward.

                    These skis are great in many conditions. As an East Coast skier, we're not used to the fluffy West Coast snow, just got back from Canada and had 8 inches of powder. They reacted well in the glades and moguls in both the powder, and the groomed snow. Totally recommend buying these skis.
